How does God use suffering in our lives as Christians?

Answered in 1 source

God uses suffering to perfect, establish, and strengthen us in our faith.

Suffering plays a significant role in the life of a believer. As stated in 1 Peter 5:10, the God of all grace uses suffering to perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us. When faced with hardships, God is cultivating our faith, refining our character, and reminding us of our total reliance on His grace. Through trials, we are drawn closer to Him, learning to depend less on worldly comforts and more on the everlasting strength found in Christ. This process is essential for spiritual maturity and a deeper relationship with our Savior.
