How does seeking God relate to prayer?

Answered in 1 source

Seeking God involves actively pursuing His presence and guidance through prayer.

Seeking God is at the heart of prayer; it reflects our desire to know Him more fully and to rely on His wisdom. Matthew 7:7 states that in seeking, we can expect to find guidance and answers. This entails an earnest effort to understand His desires for our lives. Just as David expressed confidence in God's promise to respond to our calls (Psalm 86:7), seeking involves a heartfelt longing for God that leads us to pray with persistence and faith. In times of uncertainty, our seeking can strengthen our faith as we trust in God's timing and response.
