How does sin cause trouble in our lives according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

According to the Bible, sin brings trouble and death into the world, fundamentally affecting every aspect of life (Romans 5:12).

The Bible teaches that sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and as a result, death and trouble have continually afflicted humanity (Romans 5:12). Sin disrupts our relationship with God and laboriously complicates our existence. It leads to suffering, illness, and ultimately confronts every individual with mortality and despair. Recognizing that our inherent sinfulness is the root of the troubles we face allows us to turn to God for refuge and redemption. Understanding this connection between sin and trouble is crucial for genuine repentance and seeking God’s grace.
