How should Christians judge the actions of others?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to judge others with caution and righteousness rather than hastily or superficially.

In John 7:24, Jesus instructs us to 'judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.' This stresses the importance of discernment and mercy in our evaluations of others. Instead of making snap judgments based on first impressions or external factors, we should seek to understand the context and intention behind actions. A more lenient approach fosters community and helps to avoid unnecessary conflicts. As Christians, we must strive to be careful and thoughtful in our assessments, remembering our own flaws and extending grace to others as we wish to receive it.
