How should Christians respond to the hope they have in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should respond by living in purity and reflecting Christ's character.

The appropriate response to the hope in Christ is to strive for holiness and purity in our conduct. 1 John 3:3 teaches that those who have hope in Christ naturally desire to purify themselves just as Christ is pure. This involves a conscious effort to avoid sin and pursue righteousness, reflecting the character of the Savior. Such actions do not earn salvation but are instead a fruit of the true hope that comes from being rooted in Christ. Additionally, this pursuit of holiness is supported by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to walk in a manner worthy of their calling as God's children.
