How should Christians wait for the Lord?

Christians are encouraged to wait for the Lord with patience while actively engaging in prayer and obedience (James 5:7). This includes living faithfully where God has placed them and serving Him, even in times of trouble or waiting (Colossians 3:23-24). As they wait, believers must maintain their hope in God and keep their eyes on Christ's promises, reminding themselves of His previous faithfulness.
