How should we proclaim the gospel to others?

Answered in 1 source

We should proclaim the gospel with sincerity, emphasizing truth and love as demonstrated by Christ.

Proclaiming the gospel requires a heart aligned with God’s intentions. In 1 Thessalonians 2:3-5, Paul sets forth that our message must be free from deceit and delivered with pure motives. It is essential to mirror Christ's gentleness and love, as noted in verse 7, where Paul likens their ministry to a nurse caring for her children. This imagery highlights the tenderness with which we should approach others as we share the gospel. We must also focus on God’s glory rather than seeking human approval, “for neither at any time sought we glory of men” (1 Thessalonians 2:6). The goal should always be to present God's truth lovingly and sincerely, as this reflects the nature of the gospel itself.
