What does being a partaker of the Holy Spirit mean for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Being a partaker of the Holy Spirit means sharing in His work, presence, and guidance in the believer's life.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit signifies that believers are co-partakers with one another in this divine gift. As 1 Corinthians 12:13 explains, 'For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.' This means that the Holy Spirit not only empowers believers for service but also cultivates unity within the church. He acts as the comforter, guiding, instructing, and revealing Christ to us, while enabling us to bear fruit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23). Ultimately, this partaking allows believers to grow in holiness and assures them of their inheritance in Heaven.
