What does being filled with the Holy Spirit mean?

Answered in 1 source

Being filled with the Holy Spirit means receiving as much of the Holy Spirit as one can contain for empowerment.

To be filled with the Holy Spirit, as described in Scripture, signifies receiving the Holy Spirit to the fullest capacity one can hold at a given time. This filling enables believers to bear witness to Christ and live in ways that glorify God. Unlike the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which occurs only once at conversion, being filled with the Spirit can happen multiple times throughout a believer's life (Acts 4:8; 1 Corinthians 12:13). This experience is characterized by empowerment for service and boldness in proclamation, leading to a greater manifestation of God's presence in one's life and community.
