What does Ephesians 2:10 say about good works?

Answered in 2 sources

Ephesians 2:10 states we are created in Christ to do good works that God prepared in advance for us.

Ephesians 2:10 reveals the believer’s identity as ‘God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.’ This signifies that good works are not the means of earning salvation, but the result of being saved. They are the evidence of a transformed life as a result of God’s grace at work within us, pointing towards God's sovereignty in our salvation and the purpose we fulfill in a life of obedience and service post-salvation.
