What does it mean to be one of Jesus' sheep?

Answered in 2 sources

Being one of Jesus' sheep means recognizing His voice, following Him, and receiving eternal life.

In John 10:27, Jesus says, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.' This relationship is characterized by a personal and transformative connection with Christ. To be one of His sheep is to respond to His call, acknowledge Him as the Savior, and trust in His sacrifice for salvation. It also entails a relationship marked by ongoing discipleship where the believer actively follows the teachings of Christ, resulting in eternal life and assurance of salvation.
