What does it mean to be really saved?

Answered in 1 source

To be really saved means that a believer is assured of their redemption and will persevere in faith until the end.

Real salvation, as described within sovereign grace theology, refers to a definitive work of God in the heart of the believer that results in genuine faith and repentance. This salvation is not temporary; it stems from the effective work of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Those truly saved will exhibit a transformed life, characterized by perseverance in faith and good works. The assurance of being really saved gives believers confidence that they are no longer bound by sin and that they will ultimately be sanctified and glorified with Christ. This understanding lays the foundation for assurance and hope in the life of a believer.
