What does it mean to be redeemed with a lamb?

To be redeemed with a lamb represents the salvation that Christ, our Passover, provides through His sacrificial death. In Exodus 34:20, God instructs that unclean animals must be redeemed with a lamb, which foreshadows Christ's ultimate sacrifice for us. Our condition as spiritually unclean and deserving of judgment is addressed through the redemptive work of Christ.
