What does it mean to bow before Christ the sovereign?

Bowing before Christ represents an acknowledgment of His sovereignty and lordship over all aspects of life. In the biblical narrative, Joseph’s brothers bowed before him in recognition of his authority (Genesis 42:6). Similarly, when Christians bow before Christ, they acknowledge His rightful dominion and express their submission to His will.
