What does it mean to live by grace?

Answered in 2 sources

Living by grace means recognizing that all aspects of life, including faith and perseverance, are sustained by God’s grace.

To live by grace is to acknowledge that our existence, spiritual growth, and daily functioning are entirely reliant on God's unmerited favor. Paul exemplified this in his proclamation that 'by the grace of God, I am what I am' (1 Corinthians 15:10). This truth invites believers to rest in the assurance that they are upheld by grace, as indicated in Hebrews 4:9-10 which speaks of entering into a restful state. When believers understand they are kept by grace, they can face trials and tribulations with a sense of peace and assurance. Living by grace also manifests in how we express that same grace towards others, inspiring acts of charity, love, and kindness that reflect the grace bestowed upon us. In doing so, we show the transformative power of grace in action.
