What does the Bible say about boldness?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that the righteous are as bold as a lion, deriving boldness from their righteousness through Jesus Christ.

In Proverbs 28:1, it states that 'the wicked flee when no man pursueth, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.' This boldness is not of the flesh or due to one's own abilities but is a supernatural boldness that comes from being righteous in Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:21, it affirms that through Christ, believers are made the righteousness of God, providing them with the confidence to come boldly to God's throne of grace, as encouraged in Hebrews 4:16.
