What does the Bible say about feeling fear?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible acknowledges our tendency to fear but encourages believers to find peace in Christ, who is our Shepherd.

Fear is a common human experience, but Psalm 23 provides assurance to believers that, although we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear evil because God is with us. In Hebrews 10, we see that our faith should be rooted in what Christ has already accomplished for our salvation, allowing us to approach life without fear. The Lord Jesus Christ, as the good Shepherd, provides comfort and peace, emphasizing that our reliance should be placed on Him, who has conquered all fears and provides for our every need.
