What does the Bible say about having peace in difficult times?

The Bible assures us that we can have peace in Christ even in the midst of tribulation (John 16:33).

In John 16:33, Jesus states, 'These things have I spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.' This verse contrasts our state in the world, characterized by tribulation, with the peace we find in Christ. Although we face challenges, our comfort lies in knowing Christ has overcome those challenges.
