What does the Bible say about healing and virtue?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that virtue and healing come from Jesus Christ, who heals all who seek Him.

In the Gospel of Luke, chapter 6, verse 19, we read that the whole multitude sought to touch Jesus because virtue went out from Him and healed them all. This illustrates not only His power to heal physically but also points to the spiritual healing available through Him. Isaiah 64:7 emphasizes the necessity of calling upon the name of the Lord, indicating the deep connection between faith, healing, and the virtue that flows from Christ. It’s through Jesus, who is 'Jehovah Rapha', the Lord that heals, that we find true healing, symbolizing His ability to heal the greater disease of sin that afflicts all mankind.
