What does the Bible say about Jesus as a deliverer?

In Acts 7:37, Stephen references Moses as a prophet sent by God to deliver the Israelites from Egypt, foretelling that God would raise up another prophet like him. This prophecy directly points to Jesus Christ, who fulfills this role not just as a prophet, but also as our priest and king.
