What does the Bible say about judgment at Christ's second coming?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that there will be a final judgment where believers and unbelievers will be separated.

At Christ's second coming, Scripture teaches that there will be a final judgment that separates the faithful from the unfaithful (Matthew 24:40-41). This separation is depicted clearly as happening suddenly, illustrating the urgency with which we must live our lives. Believers will be gathered to their Lord, while the unfaithful will face divine judgment. Revelation 20:11-15 describes this great white throne judgment, where all will be judged according to their deeds. For those in Christ, there is no condemnation, as their sins have been judged at the cross, granting them eternal life. However, for those outside of Christ, the judgment will lead to eternal separation from God's presence.
