What does the Bible say about living in a wicked generation?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible calls Christians to not conform to worldly patterns and to live holy lives in distinction from a wicked generation.

The Bible teaches that every generation since the fall of man can be described as wicked, and while some generations may be more wicked than others, the principle remains the same. Christians are called to not walk as the Gentiles do, which includes a call to holiness and separation from the sinful patterns of society (Ephesians 4:17-24). Believers are urged to be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2) and to not allow the wickedness of the generation to shape their thinking or lifestyle, but instead to reflect the standards of God in their daily lives.
