What does the Bible say about morality and salvation?

The Bible clearly states that morality is not the basis for our salvation. Romans 3:10 tells us that there is none righteous, no, not one, and Romans 3:28 declares that we are justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Our human attempts at goodness or morality cannot earn us salvation, as no one has ever fully kept God's commandments.
