What does the Bible say about our love for Jesus?

The Scriptures affirm that our love for Jesus is a response to His prior love for us. In 1 John 4:19, it is written, 'We love Him because He first loved us.' This underscores the divine initiative in our relationship with God. Although we have not seen Jesus physically, we experience His love through the power of the Holy Spirit, which enables us to possess a love for Him that is genuine and transformative.
