What does the Bible say about peace and truth?

Answered in 3 sources

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is both our peace and the embodiment of truth, reconciling us to God through His sacrifice.

In the Scriptures, particularly in Colossians 1:20, it is stated that Jesus made peace through His blood, reconciling all things to Himself. This encapsulates the fundamental truth that true peace, especially with God, can only be achieved through Christ. Furthermore, in John 14:6, Jesus proclaims, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.' This emphasizes that not only is He our peace, but He is also the ultimate truth concerning salvation and our relationship to God. Hence, peace and truth are inseparable in the Christian faith, rooted fully in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
