What does the Bible say about the comfort of Jesus' second coming?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible promises that Jesus will return to take His people to be with Him forever, providing immense comfort in our troubles.

In John 14:3, Jesus comforts His disciples by assuring them that He is going to prepare a place for them and will return to receive them unto Himself. This promise of His second coming is not only a source of hope but also a reminder of the temporary nature of our earthly struggles. Though He came the first time to accomplish redemption, His return will fulfill the promise of eternal communion with Him in glory. The assurance that 'where I am, there ye may be also' echoes throughout Scripture and offers profound comfort to believers facing trials in this world.
