What if a believer sins after receiving salvation?

Even if a believer sins, they shall never perish, for Christ’s promise stands (John 10:28).

The assurance provided by Christ in John 10:28 is not contingent upon the believer’s performance. The promise that they shall never perish holds true even when they falter or sin. The greatness of God's grace means that through Christ's atonement, all sins—past, present, and future—are accounted for. This does not promote a carelessness toward sin but rather emphasizes the grace that empowers one to walk in righteousness, knowing that they are secure in Christ's redemptive work.
