What is the relationship between repentance and faith?

Answered in 1 source

Repentance and faith are inseparable; true repentance will always lead to faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21).

Repentance and faith are two sides of the same coin in the Christian experience. As demonstrated in Acts 20:21, true repentance—turning away from sin and toward God—naturally leads to faith in Jesus Christ. When God grants repentance, it's accompanied by the realization of one's own sinfulness and the recognition that only Christ can provide salvation. This internal change produces a trust that is directed solely towards Christ, as He is the only one capable of effecting the reconciliation that sinners need with God. Thus, biblical faith cannot exist in isolation from genuine repentance.
