What should Christians expect regarding trials and tribulations?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should expect trials as part of the journey, knowing that they are designed by God for our good.

Believers often face trials and tribulations as a normal part of living in a fallen world. The scripture reminds us in John 16:33 that 'in the world ye shall have tribulation,' and this is emphasized repeatedly in the teachings of Christ. Furthermore, our trials are ordained by God for our benefit, as they refine our faith and deepen our reliance on Him. As seen in the lives of the disciples in Mark 4, obedience to Christ does not exempt us from storms; rather, it often leads us into them so that we might grow spiritually. The Lord uses these experiences to teach us patience, perseverance, and trust, assuring us that He remains with us through every trial.
