Why is attending church important for Christians?

Attendance at church is vital for Christians because it involves public assembly where believers gather to hear the gospel preached. Hebrews 10:23 calls us to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. This is where the church feeds its members on the Word of God, similar to how one needs physical sustenance. Additionally, Christ promises His presence where two or three are gathered in His name (Matthew 18:20), making it a sacred gathering where believers experience spiritual nourishment and fellowship. If church attendance is not the most important aspect of life, it may indicate a spiritual issue.
