Why is it important for Christians to endure struggles?

Answered in 1 source

Enduring struggles is important as it fosters spiritual growth and dependency on Christ.

For Christians, enduring struggles is essential because it allows for spiritual development that can lead to deeper faith and reliance on Christ. As highlighted in the sermon, our thorns keep us aware of our limitations and need for God's help. Struggles can soften our hearts, foster greater self-control, and encourage us to adopt a loving disposition in harsh circumstances. Embracing trials with patience and faith enables us to witness the transformational work of the Holy Spirit within us, ultimately producing sweet fruits of character as we are conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 8:29).
