Why is it important to pray through Christ?

The importance of praying through Christ is rooted in the belief that He is our mediator. 1 Peter 2:5 states that we are to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. This means that our prayers, however feeble or imperfect, are transformed into acceptable offerings when presented in the name of Jesus.
