Why is it necessary for a sinner to run to a Savior?

In the theology of sovereign grace, understanding one's identity as a sinner is crucial to recognizing the need to run to Christ as the Savior. Many do not see themselves as needing a Savior, believing instead they can achieve righteousness on their own. However, true running to Christ is acknowledging His sufficiency and our insufficiency. It is about relying on Him not only for the beginning of faith but also for its entirety, as He completes the work of salvation in His redeeming love and grace.
