Why is it significant that Jesus is called the Son of Man?

Moreover, in Daniel 7:13-14, we see the 'Son of Man' receiving dominion and glory, affirming His sovereign status. This duality highlights that while He lived as a man and experienced earthly trials, He maintains authority over all creation. Thus, as the Son of Man, He perfectly fulfills both the roles of empathetic High Priest and sovereign King.
