Why is knowing where Jesus is important for Christians?

Knowing where Jesus is fundamentally enriches our understanding of who He is and what He is doing. As Hebrews 1 highlights, Jesus is currently at the right hand of the Father, affirming His role in our ongoing redemption and intercession for us (Romans 8:34). This knowledge provides comfort and assurance that He is actively ruling over all creation, and that we, as His people, have direct access to Him through the Spirit. The realization that Jesus is present among His gathered people helps underscore the importance of communal worship and being part of the Church.
