Why is the concept of the family of God important for Christians?

The concept of the family of God highlights our identity in Christ and emphasizes the importance of spiritual bonds among believers. In the church, the relationships we nurture with fellow believers are intended to be deeper and more significant than those with our natural families. This is because they are rooted in our shared faith and covenant relationship with God.
