Why is the death of a Christian considered precious by God?

The preciousness of a Christian's death is multifaceted. Primarily, it reflects the deep love God has for His people, whom He knows intimately and cherishes (Isaiah 43:2). The death of a saint signifies the termination of their sorrows and sufferings on earth, allowing them to receive the fullness of God's grace and power. Additionally, at death, believers are welcomed into the immediate presence of Christ, fulfilling His desire for fellowship with them (John 14:3, 2 Corinthians 5:8). This transition is viewed as both an honor and a cause for divine rejoicing, as it represents an answer to Christ's prayer for them to be with Him eternally.
