How do we know God's judgments are just?

Answered in 2 sources

God's judgments are rooted in His perfect righteousness and wisdom, ensuring all He decrees is just.

God alone holds the authority to judge and His judgments are a product of His sovereign will and righteous character. In Deuteronomy 32:39, God asserts His unique position as the sole judge who gives life and takes it away, signifying that His decisions are always just and fair. The cup mentioned in the sermon represents both the blessings and the consequences delivered by God's hand; those who oppose Him face inevitable judgment that is communicated throughout Scripture. Thus, we find comfort in knowing that God's justice is flawless, unlike human judgment, which is often flawed and subjective.
