How do we know salvation is assured in Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

Salvation is assured because Christ accomplished redemption for His people by fulfilling the law and bearing their sins.

The assurance of salvation is founded on the belief that Christ's work was perfect and complete. In Galatians 4:4-5, it is stated that God sent His Son at the appointed time to redeem those under the law, which signifies not merely a hopeful possibility but a definitive action with guaranteed results. Hebrews 1:3 further emphasizes that Christ purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, indicating the finality of His redemptive work. Therefore, in sovereign grace theology, believers can have full confidence that their salvation is not contingent on their actions but rather rests entirely on the completed work of Christ.
