How do we know that God will answer our prayers?

Answered in 2 sources

God assures us of His faithfulness in answering prayers, as seen in the promise of II Kings 3:16.

The certainty of God's response to our prayers is grounded in His unchanging nature and His promises in Scripture. In II Kings 3:16, we observe how God instructs His people to prepare for His provision, even when it seemed impossible due to the lack of rain or clouds. This emphasizes that prayer must be accompanied by faith—an expectation of God's capacity to respond according to His will. Just as the child brought an umbrella to a prayer meeting, we are encouraged to prepare our hearts and lives in anticipation of God's blessings, illustrating that God’s timing and methods may differ from our expectations but are always aligned with His perfect plan.
