How do we know that God will answer our prayers?

Answered in 4 sources

God’s faithfulness in answering prayers is assured through His promises in Scripture, as seen in Luke 11:9-10 and Romans 10:13.

We know that God will answer our prayers because of His character as revealed in Scripture. Jesus assures us in Luke 11:9-10 that when we ask, seek, and knock, we will receive, find, and have doors opened. This reflects not only His willingness to respond but also His nature as a loving Father. Additionally, Romans 10:13 emphasizes that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, demonstrating the access we have to God’s grace. This assurance motivates believers to engage in continual prayer, knowing that God is attentive to our cries for mercy and help.
