Who sees us? Who will know? By
Charles Simeon They think the Lord will do nothing, either
good or bad. – Zephaniah 1.12 He says to himself,
God has forgotten, he covers his face and never sees. Why
does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself, he
won't call me to account? – Psalm 10.11-13 They say, The Lord does not see,
the God of Jacob pays no heed. Psalm 94, verse 7. They say, How can God know? Does
the Most High have knowledge? Psalm 73 11 Yet you say, What
does God know? Does He judge through such darkness? Job 22 13 The prevailing idea

depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in
darkness and think, who sees us, who will know. Isaiah chapter
29 verse 15. In this way, they always heap
up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon
them to the uttermost. 1 Thessalonians 2.16 God is a
just judge and God is angry with the wicked every day. If a man
does not repent, he will sharpen his sword. He has bent his bow
and made it ready. Psalm 7.11-12 If I sharpen my flashing sword
and my hand takes hold on justice, I will render vengeance on my
adversaries, and I will repay those who hate me. Deuteronomy
chapter 32 verse 41 Vengeance is mine and retribution. In due
time their foot will slip, for the day of their calamity is
near, and their doom comes swiftly. Deuteronomy chapter 32 verse
