Go back now with me to Matthew
chapter fourteen. This is recorded in all four
Gospels this story. It must be very important of
course if something is in Scripture one time. It's of infinite and
eternal importance, isn't it? But four times just tells us
that there's something we need to learn here. And we have looked
at the other three times over the years, back in 97 and 99
and 0-2 and now this last account
given in Mark Matthew's Gospel. This is the story of the Lord
feeding the multitude, a great miracle, a great miracle that
there is no doubt that no man could do these things. He proves who he is, proves who
he is. who the scripture says he was
God manifest in the flesh only God can do what he did creator
the provider from whom we receive all things but this is written
I quote again to you from Romans fifteen all thing whatsoever
things are written are written for our learning that we through
patience that is patiently waiting on the Lord and comfort of scripture
Whatever things are written are written for us to read that we
through the comfort of the scripture might have hope. So this story
is another of many that gives us hope. Now right after John's
horrible death that we looked at Sunday the disciples came
to the Lord in verse thirteen it says when Christ heard that
is when they told him it didn't surprise him as we saw the Lord
was the reason that happened. He wills all things and but they
came and told the Lord what had happened and it's the same with
us when we call upon the Lord in prayer the scripture says
he knows what things we have need of even before we act. And
someone thirty nine says there's not a word in my mouth that he
doesn't know before I speak it. He knows my thoughts are far
off someone thirty nine say nevertheless it does us good to unburden ourselves
to him but that's what prayer is all about unburdening our
self casting our care upon him going to him confession is good. Confession to admit your guilt
repentance toward God. He knows all about it. He knows
us better than we know ourselves, but and all things known under
God are all his works from the beginning. But nevertheless,
they came and told the Lord. And it says when he heard and
notice of it is italics when he heard there. You know, but you know, they
were sad. They were broken hearted. Broken hearted and troubled and
perplexed by this, what had happened. This horrible, not just a death,
but a horrible death. And they were, some of them were
crying, I'm sure, when they came to him, if not all of them. And
they came to him and we heard them. He took them apart. It says they
got in a ship together. They were always in a ship together,
weren't they? Fellows in the same ship. Fellowship. They enjoyed this
all the time with the Lord. He was their captain. And they
departed into a deserted place for a while. And the Lord communed
with them. He spoke with them and comforted
them. with his word. His word. He comforted them. And we need
the same. We need the same during trials
and tribulations. There's only one source of comfort.
There's only one source for real answers. And that's to get alone
with our Lord in his word. And that's our only source of
comfort that we might have hope. And it says in verse 14 that
when the Lord went forth and saw a great multitude, they left
this deserted place wherever it was, and he saw a great multitude,
there was at least 10,000 people, at least 10,000 people, maybe
more, men, women, and children. And it says he was moved with
compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. A great multitude. Turn with
me to the book of Revelation, chapter seven. Revelation seven. Now in Luke's gospel, it says,
of this account, it says he healed them that had need of healing. And I like that. He heals everyone
who needs healing, which is a picture of salvation. The Lord saves
those that truly need his salvation. As Martin would say, God saves
all sinners. The problem is everybody doesn't
know or believe they are sinners, but everyone whom God reveals
to them what they are and their need of Christ, they go to him
as poor and needy sinners and he heals them all. He heals every
needy sinner, those that have need. of saving. He heals them all. And that's
all that we sing that song, all the fitness he requires is to
feel your need of him. And you have that promise, he
heals all that have need of healing. Well, he saw this great multitude,
many people. And in Revelation 7, look at
verses 9 and 10, this reminded me of this story here. After this, John says, I beheld
and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number. Now, no
man could number them, but God has some numbers, doesn't He? Just like the stars of the sky
and the sands of the seashore. Of all nations and kindred and
people and tongues stood before the throne and before the Lamb,
that's clothed with white robes and palms in their hands and
cried. Now here's the confession of
everybody in heaven. Everybody in heaven knows who does the Savior and
attributes all of salvation to him. Look at verse ten. They
cried with a loud voice. All of these people, this great
multitude, but cried with one voice. It sounded like one voice.
They said, Salvation to our God, which sitteth upon the throne,
our sovereign God, and unto the Lamb. He's God's Lamb. And down
in verse 12, they said, Amen. They all agreed. They all agreed. They all believed the same thing.
Go there's one Lord, one faith. It's in Him, that one Lord. One
Father. One God, one hope of your covenant,
one. And with one voice, we all say,
salvation belongeth to the Lord. And we all say, Amen. Blessing,
look at these things. Blessing, that is all blessings,
glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power and might be unto
our God forever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered,
saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes?
Who are these people? And where did they come from?
Verse fourteen, read with me now. I said unto him, Sir, thou
knowest. And he said to me, These are
they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed
their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore
are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night
in his temple. And he that sitteth on the throne
shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more. Neither
thirst any more, neither shall the sun light on them, nor any
heat. For the Lamb which is in the
midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto
living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes." So the Lamb, it says, was with this great
multitude, and He shall feed them. And that's what's about
to happen in our story. And another account over in Revelation
fourteen spoke of this great multitude hundred and forty four
thousand it says days are they which follow the lamb with us
wherever he goes they follow him these people in our story
were following Christ. Another place in Revelation seventeen
it says they that are with him those that are with Christ the
lamb are called chosen and faithful. Faithful Father. That's what
Jeannette played on the piano in the prelude. Faith of our
Father. So, what a picture this is of
the vast number of God's people. Go back to the text in Matthew,
which no man can number. This great multitude, all of
whom, verse thirteen says, they heard. They heard of Him. and they followed him, the called,
chosen, and the faithful. And verse fourteen says he was
moved with compassion toward them. Do you remember our study
back in chapter nine of our compassionate Lord? It says this many times
throughout the scripture, he was moved with compassion. If it does start making a noise,
please tell me. There's a groove with some passion,
and I remember this passion, because in my history, this is
one, and I can tell you about it. It's a groove of God-like sensitivity,
that's hard to make him miss. It's a groove. And passion drives
the concentration of the listener to hear it, to retain the concentration
of the listener, because he's denied it to himself. He will
turn again, and he will have compassion upon us. He will.
So you heard me, and I will cast all your sins into the desert." That's what it is. That's what it is.
That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is.
That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is.
That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's
what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what
it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what
it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what
it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is.
That's what it is. The passion is to look upon with understanding,
to look upon with kindness, to look upon with kindness, to consider
as the prime motive, the loathing of the individual, for one's
own good. And the Lord, as Christian says,
is gracious and full of compassion. Lo, then, I am a great person,
and all that is good, and all that is bad, and all that is worse, and all that is good, and all that is
bad, and all that is good, and all that is bad, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all
that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse,
and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all
that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse,
and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is
worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all
that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse,
and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is
worse, and all that is worse, and all that is worse, and all that is whom the Lord loves to save.
Right? Whom He loves to save. And remember this,
the Lord chose them to be His. Imagine this in God's name, spiritually,
and you sing, the Lord chose them to be His. You know what that word
meant to me? I got chosen by God and given
to Christ. And Christ came down to me and
He was the first person that was saved. Now, I told you there were at
least 10,000 criminals in this. There were tens of thousands.
There's probably been all over Europe there's been more than
three-and-a-half years of this. Tens of thousands of times a
year. There's probably been all over Europe. It's a very large
number. There was a vast amount of potential. But he was always
hoping that he wouldn't, according to the election process, that
he would win. But he was always a winner. And at this time, it was 5,000,000
people. You remember at Pentecost, how
many souls were buried at Pentecost? Three thousand. And then in the
next chapter four, he's going back having, what's it, 5,000
men. He doesn't quit, he wins. And he goes, happy. So they go
again, and he comes back. And so, I didn't really have time to read the book. And while I don't think it's
a marriage, I've always said that. Ladies and gentlemen, marriage
is a good thing. And we live in a marriage. We live in a marriage. Marriage is a marriage. Marriage
is a union. There's a certain union that
excludes you. But it excludes all other questions
that come up. Marriage can neither exclude
you. to everything that we want. Come on, David. We all agree
that it is necessary to agree. And now there's a spirit lesson,
actually, in where it goes through life,
through life. Our gulf was narrow, and many
walked the gulf as close as our gulf could have been. Climbs
the gate and falls away with the destruction, and many of
their people that go there fall away, and over here, it ends
up being a great consolation by God for them. He's not always there for you.
He just doesn't. But God can. Do you remember
Elisha? Elisha told you the only person
on earth that believes the Lord. It was God. God didn't know that
at that time, but here he is. Here he is. There's nobody else.
Our Lord told us, Elisha, He said, I reserve to myself seven
months of God's salvation. So if they can give me that,
they're ready to give me anything, anytime. Anything, anytime. And
I've been told that back then, over in, I think, Arkansas, when
he said, he really called me into action because he said,
he said, he looked at me and he said, now, whoever I start with, He said, I don't know, I don't know. So the badge is mine. Okay. Well, anyway, all of these things
were a key to his capture in Mount Everest, and here comes
the road trip. And that is over there on the
left-hand side of the place, in the north on this kind of
thing, where the churches were built, where the people hanged
all over the leaves that they heard. There's even more on this side. This is the problem. We need to get away from any
kind of guilt in that. And so there's a tremendous,
tremendous impact to the foundation, to the repository, all over the
world, you know. For decades, decades. And then an activation factor
that disperses is when the lowest rate of that current is all over
the city. It's simply a constant. That's all that happens. It's
the same thing now. The current is saturated all
over the city. There's any current there or
not. And you can see what we've achieved
out of the solar system. It was one-tenth of that. It
was one-tenth. It may be closer to 30, but it
was one-tenth. And the Lord said to him, look,
I say to you, verse 16, it says, when it was evening, if the disciples
came to him and said, this is a deserted place, and the time
is now past, and it's late, send them those two away, that they
may go into the villages and buy themselves fish. I couldn't
help but wonder why the disciples would give the Lord orders like
that. It must have been Peter. He can
have it the second time, four or three times, but if there's
a tenth of a life, oh, how quickly we will die in a few years. And again, it doesn't
matter if it's a hundred or a hundred and twenty years. What time it
was, if he knew the people he was looking upon, if he had them
all before he died, he probably would have. But there's a tenth
of a life. If they may go into the village,
you can buy them tail sticks. Send them away, but send them
in fact. Send them so that they might
buy something for themselves. In verse sixteen, the beast was
said unto them, They need not depart. They don't have to go away to
get something to eat. And they don't have to send their
money? That's not true. He just looked
at that. And Isaiah 65, speaking of, didn't
he read those words? Come, he said, by you without
money, and without time. Time sends money, so that it
is not there. And that can be later, but that
doesn't satisfy God. heart and give it to them to
live, and eat, eat that which is good, and let your soul divide
itself in half." You know what I mean by that? They don't need to depart. We don't need to depart. We don't
need to go anywhere. It's time to move. It's time
to stop. Stop. Then I was speaking in
fall of 2010, at that point. The lady came up to me after,
clearly relieved. And I was speaking to her, and
she said, she said, and she said, He said, he said, and now I don't
have to look anymore at my service anymore. I'm not saying my business. I don't have to go anywhere. They don't need to depart, and
they don't need to bend over and say, I'm sorry. But how does Jesus Christ look
at it here? He says, if he's empty, he called
it the title, you get empty. The Lord called it the title,
you get free from it. What is that? Because
this is the way the Lord speaks to his people, to him and us. It's always been this way. God has sent his hands, and God
has made his place under the power of his hand. God is powerful. This is God's power. And he's powerful. He's so powerful.
And he's a clean God. God is truly a clean God. That's what it means. And Paul
says that, he quotes, in summary, we have to be fair to them. We
have to be fair to some of them, all of the times, and they say,
no, we never do that. And lastly on the gospel, Paul
goes further on the gospel. Where is the disciples' unity?
There it is. The Lord says, you give them
unity. Well, where is that unity? It's the truth that they have
at that time. Now, for three and a half years, they didn't
have to work one day a dollar a month. No, they just dropped
cash, turds, and eggs, you know, to provide for themselves. That
was when they quit. Remember? They went back to business
when they quit. When the lawyers were too good
about it. People didn't say, that's what I'm doing. I don't
want business. They said, well, what are you
supposed to do? Well, that's not easy. And that's what they were doing
in the northbound. And when they cleared, that's what they were
getting back to. And that's the way they had gears. Hey, if they
didn't work one day, or they didn't catch the line, they could
get there one time and get back on it. They're digging their boots. And if the person didn't know,
or if it was a little bit previous, he or she did not. And that was
Leviathan. And he or she did not. And if you were a child,
and if you were a child, and if you learned your way, and
Leviathan was going to tell you, you know, you didn't know. You're
not there. You're in a different country. And the doctor said to Dave,
this is it, the doctor said to William Brown, don't worry about
Dave, don't worry about it. He said, take that vaccine, my
friend, take it and have fun with it. Take that money. I don't
want to give you your money for that vaccine. The Lord said,
if I was hungry, I couldn't catch a fish. If I were hungry, and
I'm not, but if I were, and I'm done with it, tell me you've
had enough out of me all the time. And if I need money, He
said, I'll make sure of you. I don't need you. He said, because
all the folks are filthier than I am. And these good churches,
these good churches, God has proven it a hundred years, and
they've never asked anybody for a penny, never had a fundraiser
for a penny, never, and never will. Abraham one time
wanted to sacrifice to the Lord, and a man wanted to give him
a grain of salt, remember? He wanted to give him, and he
said, Father, I will not. He said, I will not. He said,
I will not, first of all, I will not give unto the Lord that which
he hath given me. And he gave it to the Indians,
why? To give it to the Indians. You see, the Lord gave
them their necessary food, but they didn't have none. Look at
it. First, the Indians said, Oh,
we have five loaves of good beans. Now, that's not going to be twelve
gone men, thirteen. But the brother went to the fishing.
The fish said, small fish. And the other guy, small fish.
You hear that? Small fish. Come on, he did it. He fished them all. He did it. Small fish. For this sake. And perhaps they did go down
and catch them. Perhaps the Lord did say, go down and catch them.
And they caught them. Small fish. But the disciples said, all we
have here is five loaves of bread and two small fish. That's not going to be thirteen
at that moment. It's going to be ten. And nevertheless, the Lord said to them, we're
going to take these two, and we're going to eat them. That's the bread. You know what they did to Jack
and Greg? They didn't have money. They just didn't have any money.
And he was all over the picture, and he wasn't making any money.
And that was it. I didn't have any money. Well, that's what they were saying.
They never said anything like that. Yeah. Of course, Peter,
I didn't speak to him about that. I told him, I'm hungry. He said,
we don't have money. But John chapter 6 says there's
five of them. And this is significant. There's
not a high word in here. There's no punctuation. There's five marvelous words. I'm looking for them. I know
they're right there somewhere, but I can't see them. Well, let's
see if we can find them. You want to know what Somer was
redeemed with? I don't know. I don't know. Ardeth, back then, was poor man's word.
You're supposed to know the details, of course. Ardeth was
poor man's word. I have simply claimed ordinary
court road appraisal, and to small people, that's all we have. Lord, all we have is four manslayers
and two poor people. Now, what are the priorities, Andy? You've said it two or three
times already. Build a good temple in R.A.K. But it's simple food. It's poor
man's food. It comes from the Lord, our Savior. It's the same food you've been
eating and taking away from us again. Some of those foods are
few, all of them. Look at Luke 24, verse 24. It
says, He said unto them, These are the words which I say unto
you. In other words, I've already told you this. While I will get with you, that
all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law
of Moses. Now, how many books are in the Book of Moses? How
many? Five. And in the Prophets. Let's see. This is what God is in serious
business with from the beginning. I wrote this. I told him so. Look across the page. We sang
the song from this door. Chapter, uh, or verse thirteen,
uh, it says, uh, or verse thirty says, we're going to the verse
thirteen, he came in the past, as he sat at sea with them, he
took bread and blessed it. What kind of bread did he take?
I don't know, I just found out he was a pastor. And bread was
contained in him, and their eyes were opened. And down to verse
thirty-five it says, he was known to them. Praise Thou for the great work
of mine, here, now, and in the ages. And Thou didst bless the
land of Israel. I owe it to You. And I thought that the merits
of those lands, some of that great wilderness in the Middle
East, I owe it to Thou for the great work of mine, here, and
in the ages. When the Lord was sitting on
the shore after He got up from the breast, they didn't know
Him. Do you remember? He was given that new bread. He was a great comparison, I think, to the Lord. And the Lord has given us to
read the description of the Lord and His foreman, King Luther.
And we bring this to Him with love because I'm a mighty poor
Christian. And I would even say I'm a mighty
poor Christian. so that you break the grasp of the nature. If you
write this in diagrams, if you multiply, if you can write this
in diagrams, it will be useful. So that both of you can create
this, create a compound, create a compound, and both of you can
make it the same in the future. Both of you can create the spirit
of learning in the future. And now you know that this is
a job that works. is that it seems so ridiculous,
that all this was lost in time. It exists. The rural congregations,
you'll have people from all walks of life, some with education,
some without education. But it's there, and we have to
extend it to ourselves. And then we have to look at how
to improve it. And we need to try to find some
way Four hands up. Four in spirit. That's what it
was. Four in spirit. And it's been
so hard on everybody. That's how you know it's a job
to learn. It is. It is. It causes the boundary
of masculinity, of being male, female, that boundary, of who's
in now. This poor young, old, young people,
old people, and all this stuff. And how do you know that you're
going to be healed? How do you know that you're going
to be healed? You have to be. And it's all in the name of Jesus. It's all in the name of Jesus. Or he can find a lie down. He
makes an attempt to lie down. He makes an attempt to lie down
and brings Patrick as he's prepared him to lie down. And he said, looking up at heaven,
he glanced and brightened, and he looked at God. He had my back
there. And he looked at God, and he made a face, I tell you, and
he looked at God, and he glanced at him. One, and all that he did, that's
one thing for our God. And he looked to the Lord, and
he looked to the Lord, and he looked on his back, and he looked on his back, and he looked on
his back, and he looked on his back, and he looked on his back,
and he looked on his back, and he looked on his back, and he looked on
his back, and he looked on his back, and he looked on his back,
and he looked on his back, and he looked on his back, and he looked
on his back, and he looked on his back, and he looked on his
back, and he looked on his back, and he looked on his back, and
he looked on his back, and he looked on his back, and he looked on And that's what we're here to
do. And that's what we're here to
talk about. So stay in there, and every now
and then, before you start taking care of yourself, just let it
go. It's not up to you. It is up to you. It's up to you. It's all in God's hands. If you
don't want what you look to be, then Can't you do that? Well, I can. That's amazing.
First thing you need is a dog to walk. Now, as hard as it is
to know, you've got to have a shoulder to use. You've got to have a
shoulder to use. I love my family. One of the hardest
ladies was a child. She was a two-year-old. She was
down there in the shower, and they lied to her. Now, if he's
lazy, though, he'll lie down and he'll drink that shit. So he's a good guy. So he's a good
guy. He's a good guy. The only one
who can't is the only one who can place his thumbs, sit down
in a pew, and listen to somebody. That's how I know my place is the Lord
and mine. That's what it is. The Lord has made it such to
lie down. And he blessed the Lord, blessed the solution, blessed
his God, and braced the loaves, and gave the loaves to his disciples,
and his disciples gave it to the Lord. Glory to God. Amen. I can't believe it. At that time,
they were going to fly down. I can't believe it. I'm ready. I'm ready to go to the train.
I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm
ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train.
I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train.
I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train.
I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train.
I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to
go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the
train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm ready to go to the train. I'm
ready to go to the train That's the way it's understandable in
the church. So, like, thank God we feel,
but it says thank you to all. And George says, come on, thank
you to all of me. Thank you. And who does it say? Feel. Feel. Is it full? I don't know. I don't know. I
say, I've got to see. And as I watched the video, I
thought, she should have been in school a long time before this happened.
But she kept eating. And it was good that she ate
something. And still, she said, when you're
still, somebody comes up to you and says, do you need anything
more? And I'm like, I'm satisfied with that. Have I deserved it?
Right? No, if you're cool with it. I'm
not like Laurel. You know, Laurel is the one who's
caught on everything else. Same with us. If you're cool now,
you don't need anything. You don't have one problem. Am
I absurd? No, I'm cool. I'm so sweet. I'm
satisfied, I'm complete, I have need of nothing. And all you
need has to be a real feeling for the truth. All you need then
is to do what? And that's what every one of
God's people find when they hear the gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ. There's Jesus food, bread food,
bread from heaven, the water of life, the green pastures that
we've learned, the believers in Jesus, the believers in the
Holy Spirit, the believers in salvation. You hear it on the
street and in a major subject. So, we were supposed to do something
about it, but here's what I've done. It's a little bit of a mess. I'm not going
to talk about it. I've got it all on me. Oh, this
is really what I'm going to do. It's a very good book. And so it is the result of that,
as it says, by Christ and on Christ. And look at verse 20
and 21, it says, And they took up of the fragments that remained
twelve baskets full, and they that ate them were about five
thousand men, the type of condition women endure. It's a different person. It's not the same person. But
it's right. This and people. They're equal. They're not different. They're
