The confession. A man wakes up and is horrified by the mirror. Pride is the word -- it appears in nearly every song. The hymn-like songs are doctrinal anchors: flags planted in the ground, this is what I actually believe, stripped of the pride that was wrapped around it. A man tearing down his own temple, brick by brick.
