The praise album the catalog owed since its first word. From Pride to Praise named praise eight albums ago and never arrived; this is the arrival -- not joy that skipped the cost, but joy on the far side of all of it. The man cast outside the camp builds a camp with no walls and fills it with singing, and holds the door open for everyone else who is outside and misses the music. Bright 1970s countrypolitan: the warm answer to the cold of Outside the Camp.

Shape: 1-3 the gathering -- the campless, pewless, and cast-out called in from the cold; 4-7 what He has done -- the finished cross, the effectual call, the verdict of righteous; 8-11 even here -- praise from inside the wound, the scattered church, the grieving; 12-15 homeward -- the country ahead, face to face, the loudest song, and the benediction.
