The sermon titled "Storm Warning #72" focuses on the doctrine of salvation by sovereign grace, emphasizing that it is through the completed work of Christ that sinners can attain righteousness and eternal life. Key points include the reign of sin over humanity, which is overturned by God's grace, as illustrated in Romans 5:21 where grace reigns through righteousness. The preacher underscores that salvation is purely a gift of grace, not dependent on human efforts, referencing John 17:24 to highlight Jesus’ intercessory role in granting eternal life to believers. The significance of this doctrine lies in its ability to humble the pride of humanity while providing assurance of salvation based on Christ's righteousness, calling all listeners to come to Christ for salvation without delay, reiterating the urgency of repentance and faith.

Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, which is sponsored by preacher Wayne Boyd and the
brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus at First Baptist Church
located in Almonte, Michigan, USA. And God willing, this broadcast
will reach you, Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope
and prayer unto God most high, the only holy father, that is
only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness. be
greatly exalted, that his everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed,
that the pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and
that his elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted
in these evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by His sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
in His unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. It is written in Romans 5.21,
as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through
righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin, like some mighty conqueror,
hath obtained of victory and reigns over the whole human race. All men are naturally under and
well pleased with its reign and government, but sovereign almighty
grace dethrones this usurping monarch in the hearts of the
elect, triumphs over its spoils and conquests, delivers their
captive souls from its dominion, and reverseth. the sentence of
death they were under, and all this is effected in a just and
righteous way. For though salvation is all of
grace to poor sinners, yet eternal life is a just debt due to the
blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ. He hath a right to challenge
it from the hands of justice, and he doth so by promise. The
Lord Jesus Christ saying, Father, I will that they whom thou hast
given me be with me where I am. John 17 24. To think of doing
something to procure the favor of God and entitle ourselves
to eternal life, this we are prompted to from the pride of
our natures and unbelief of our hearts. But such notions ever
oppose the gospel of grace, resist the spirit of truth, degrade
the glory of Jesus, depreciate the perfection of his finished
work, and make the God of truth a liar. But thou, O believer,
are not saved without a perfect righteousness and perfect obedience
to the law of God. And through faith in Jesus, thou
hast a just challenge and humble claim founded upon His righteousness
to eternal life, Oh, the rich triumphs of abounding love. How
glorious is the victory of sovereign grace. Soul, thou must sink into
nothing at its discovery, yet rise into a glorious subject
from the knowledge and experience of it. Grace reigns over all
the aboundings of sin. Here is our hope through the
righteousness of Christ over all our unrighteousness. Here
is our justification in God's sight unto eternal life. Here
is our triumph over the wages of sin and death. O sinner, destitute
of righteousness in thyself, grace demands the daily study
of thy heart. Grace demands the whole devotion
of thy life. Give all the glory where only
it is justly due, to the Father for everlasting love, to the
Son for everlasting righteousness, and to the Spirit for everlasting
consolation and good hope through grace. The more thou art enabled
to live upon the divine truth and faithfulness of the covenant
as revealed in the word and shining with full luster in the person
of Jesus thou will become dead to every hope but him out of
conceit with all righteousness but his and thou wilt be singing
in triumph with the church as it is written in isaiah 61 10
i will greatly rejoice in the lord my soul shall be joyful
in my god for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness hallelujah that
was old-time preacher william mason worship A reading from
Hebrews 10, 25. Not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together as the manner of some is, but exhorting
one another and so much the more as you see the day approaching. By God's all wise appointment,
our assemblies are the life, the food, and the nourishment
of our souls. It is the main way whereby we
publicly identify with Christ and his gospel. We evidence our
love for Christ by our loyalty and support of one another in
opposition to all false worship. Many things will rise up in competition
to the diligent attendance of our assemblies. We must recognize
and refuse to give in to anything that is opposed to what Christ
commands. The total falling away of a graceless
professor always begins with this neglect, this disassociation
with God's people. Please see Hebrews 10.25, and
that was preacher John Owen, year of our Lord, 1650. Priorities
in preaching. Brethren, pray for
us is a frequent plea made by those who preach the gospel as
Paul wrote it in 2 Thessalonians 3, 1. But Paul's main concern,
and ours should be, was not so much for himself, nor for the
safety and welfare of the ministers themselves, but for the success
and glory of the gospel he preached. When we urge you to pray for
us and for our brethren and for our missionaries, of course we
should pray for their general health, support and safety. But
our chief concern is number one, that the word of God may be preached
far and wide. Number two, that effectual doors
may be opened for the preaching of Christ. And number three,
that our gospel may be glorified and triumph in other places as
it has in you. In thought and in prayer, may
our priorities be in proper order. The minister is but a voice.
The glory of Christ and his gospel is our aim. Ministers come and
go. Voices are raised up and silenced,
but the gospel is glorified when men receive it, believe it, and
walk in truth and holiness before our God. Brethren, pray for us
that our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in our efforts. Excellent. That's from preacher
Henry T. Mahan. He's written in John 6,
69, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal
life, and we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ,
the son of the living God. From the standpoint of God's
eternal decree, it may be truly said that believing sinners will
not turn away from Christ because they cannot. But from the standpoint
of the believer's experience, it may just as truly be said
that believers cannot turn away from Christ because they will
not. And this is not presumption. It is the simple saving childlike
faith and trust of a believing sinner, a true believer. The
desperate need of his soul can only be satisfied in Christ Jesus,
the Lord. That was from preacher Maurice
Montgomery. Christ lifted up. And this is,
the following words are from the Lord Jesus Christ himself,
and you can find it in John 12, 32. And I, if I be lifted up
from the earth, will draw all men, or draw all unto me. The Lord Jesus Christ has promised
his church that when he is lifted up, that he will draw us unto
himself in saving mercy and everlasting salvation. This lifting up refers
to several things. Number one, being lifted up to
die for our sins according to the scripture. See John 3, 14,
1 Corinthians 15, verse one through 40. It is only through the Lord
Jesus Christ putting away our sin and making peace for us through
the blood of his cross that he draws us unto himself. Colossians
1, 14 through 20, 1 Peter 3, 18. Number two, being lifted
up also refers to his glorious resurrection from the dead, who
was delivered for our offenses and was raised again for our
justification. See Romans 4, 25. Christ was
raised up because he made full atonement for our sins and completely
justified us by his blood. See Romans 3, 24 and Romans 5,
6 through 10. Having put away our sin, the
grave and the law of God have no claim on him or us. Hebrews
9, 12 and also verse 26. The Lord has taken away all barriers
and commands His people to come unto Him. Matthew 11, 28 and
John 7, 37. We are told that to come boldly
unto the throne of grace that we might find grace to help in
time of need. Hebrews 4, 16. Number three,
being lifted up also refers to his glorious ascension to the
right hand of the throne of God. See Hebrews 1.3 and also Hebrews
8.1 and again, Hebrews 12.2. Our great high priest has entered
into glory for us as our forerunner and occupies the very throne
of God, Hebrews 6.20. As the representative man, our
mediator ever lives to intercede for us. Thank God. See Romans
8.32. through verse 35, Hebrews 7,
25, and 1 John 2, 1. This gives us great encouragement
to draw near unto the Lord Jesus Christ. God is reconciled in
Christ. See 2 Corinthians 5, verses 18
through 21. Number four, being lifted up
also refers to his promise to bless his word through the preaching
of the gospel. See Isaiah 55, 11. The lord has
ordained the preaching of the word to call out and draw his
people to him first corinthians 1 18 through 24 2nd timothy 4
1 through 4 and james 1 18 When the lord is lifted up in the
preaching of the gospel the sheep of christ are given eyes to see
him in all his beauty and are irresistibly drawn unto him in
everlasting love." They must have him, Jeremiah 31, 3. And
that message was from preacher Tom Harding of Zebulon Grace
Church, located in Pikeville, Kentucky, USA. It is written
in Isaiah 45, 22, where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto
me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and
there is none else. But Lord Jesus, our master says
also in Matthew 11, 28 through 30, come unto me all you that
labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my
yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart
and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy
and my burden is light. Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none of us
are promised another day on this earth. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
while he may be found, and seek him while he is near. Only by
being in Christ Jesus, the ark of our salvation, may we be delivered
from the fierce wrath of Almighty God, which is coming soon upon
the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
his sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to his only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord,
our righteousness. Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless the name. Baruch Hashem. Holy one of Israel. Hagadosh Yisrael. Hallelujah. If you're a lender of the Lord
