How does God's timing affect the fulfillment of His promises?

Answered in 1 source

God's timing is often different from ours, but it is perfect and always aligns with His sovereign plan.

A recurring theme in Scripture is that God's timing differs from human expectations. The Israelites waited approximately 800 years from Abraham's promise before they entered the promised land. Similarly, in our lives, we may find ourselves waiting for God's promises to be fulfilled, often leading to impatience or doubt. However, God's timing is always perfect, orchestrating events for His glory and our good. The stories of biblical figures such as Moses and Joseph illustrate how God's plans came to fruition in His own time, often through trials and testing. Trusting in God's timing encourages believers to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that He is at work in ways that are sometimes unseen until the fullness of time arrives.
