From the lips that o'er the earth
did make a hymn of love And from within the joys of love, the
mystery of His love, the mystery of His love. A cross before his life and death,
to take his death with him. If we hold on, if we hold on,
we're everlasting free. We're everlasting free. I'm not quite sure that that's the
best thing to do. I guess we have to ask ourselves,
do we love God's salvation? That's kind of what the message
says. I love God's salvation. That's
the first experience. I say I've already tried this
on, so I'm going to do it again. So, look at verse six then. This is, you know, verse six. Well, this is the verse of love.
That those that seek Thee can be glad in Thee, that such as
love Thine shall be saved in Thee. Those are loved by salvation. Now, David is the writer. David
is called by God a man after God's own heart. He was loved
by God, and he loves God. Except that he's both often and
continually, as he told us, of God's salvation. To that sum,
if you read, you will read over and over how He speaks of God's
salvation, how He's mercy, how He's grace, how He's love, how
He's forgiveness, how He's righteousness, all in all, God's salvation.
In fact, David repeated these very words in Psalm 70. I told
you on the eve of Psalm 70 and I think it was the same thing. The last five verses in Psalm
70 are the last five verses of Psalm 40. It's not just a repetition,
but David actually wrote it in. So again, it says in Psalms,
it says these are psalms of redemption, redemption, something they mean
is redemption. And you will, you who have read
this before, will recognize the words of our Lord here, didn't
you? In verses seven through ten, look at it. I said this
was David's psalm. Well, this is a Messianic psalm,
isn't it? The Lord Jesus Christ is speaking.
Verse seven, we say, Lo, then said I, Lo, I come, in the volume
of the book of Ephesians. I said everybody was testifying
to me. Someone is coming. He said, "'I am come to do as
I like to do by will of my God. Yea, thy law, thy word, thy law
is within my heart.' He said, "'I have preached the righteousness
and the great covenant.'" Who's right? God's right. So he says,
I have not refrained from my witness, O Lord, Thou knowest. I have not given Thy righteousness
within my heart. Christ came to declare it. He
said, I have declared that Thy faithfulness and Thy salvation
I have not concealed Thy lovingkindness and Thy truth from the great
congregation. So Christ came, Christ Himself
be the preacher. And he came to preach. He said,
I've come to preach. What did he preach? God's Word. This wasn't him. I said, in fact,
God's faithfulness, God's salvation, God's faithfulness to His Church,
God's salvation, God's lovingkindness, God's truth. Well, they didn't wrote this,
but these are words of God. And you know that David could
say this from the heart, that it still counts. So, as he is,
so are we. I believe, as you witnessed in
the choir, That's what we live here. We have great pride in
ourselves, and we're very proud of what we have. We have to learn
from that. Who's right? God is right. We have not hid
His righteousness. Some call this higher doctrine,
or family doctrine, and so on and so forth. But Paul wrote,
he said, if higher doctrine we hid, And he said, I have declared
thy faithfulness and thy salvation. This is all we pray every time
we stand up here. And when you go after, when you
talk to someone, what do you write? God's faithfulness. God's soundness. That's what we say. Love and
kindness and His truth. So, as He is, so will they. And so, as Christ loves and He
is, so are we in this world. We delight. God's people delight
in everything. God's people. And that's the highest form of
blasphemy I've ever heard. There's only one who has a free
will. Who ever has a free will is God. A free will means to do as you
will, as we will, as we will, as God wills. Now, who's God? Who doesn't have
to will? Only God. We can never say, I
will anything, can we? Never. We can never say, I can't
say I will do anything. That makes no sense. Or we can
never say, I will do anything. We say, the Lord will. That's
what we say. All our meetings are counted
in the plan. God gives you will, of course,
sir. Well, that's just the fact of the matter. God gives you
will. When you're alive, then you're different. Some people,
they're alive when you put them into the sun, and they don't give you will. And what do you
get away from that? Don't we delight in giving you
will? Of course, he gives you will. This is the will of God,
which is said in the cross. May everyone receive the sun.
What must we do to do the work of God, to do these works, to
do the Church? To believe in one another, to believe in one
another, to delight in one another. But we delight in God's will.
When we preach, we declare His righteousness, not our own. Christ,
however, is not right. His faithfulness, His salvation.
And David, like Christ, was hated by the Church. But many people
were talking about that. And he said, those that hate
me, seek to destroy me, they hate me without cause. Just like
Christ himself, they hate me without cause, and so will you
be. That's a pretty sight. He said, let them be ashamed,
let them be confounded, let them be turned back, and they will
be. Everyone who goes after other gods will someday be ashamed. Everyone who believes another
gospel will someday be turned back, that is, turned out, turned
away, okay? Now, Christ said this. He said
to us, the disciples and us, he said, if the world hates you,
listen to this, if the world hates you, you know it hates
you more than it hates you. If you were off the world, the
world would love you some. But because you're not of the
world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the
world hates you. And that's our consolation, to
hate you for the truth's sake. Hate you for loving God's salvation.
That's it in a nutshell. Hate you for loving God's salvation.
So the scripture says, Strictly said in verse 16, let all those
that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee. Let sons of love
buy salvation. Say continually, all the time,
the Lord be with you. Now let's give a kiss and see
if you love Jesus as much as we do. And see if you love Jesus
as much as we do. Because we may have to die sometime. He said, let all those that seek
Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee. Now, there are many people who seek
anything, nothing. I don't mean to do it all the
time. People come all the time to ask
me or say to me, we're looking for a church. People are looking for a mate,
looking for companionship, looking for programs for their children,
looking for, you know, entertainment, looking for whatever. The world
is looking for happiness, prosperity, and all that. But if you seek
me, seeking me, you'll find me. When you search for me, it's
on your mind. and those that seek Him and rejoice
and are glad in Him are chosen to belong to Him. Let me give you another story.
There were thousands who followed Jesus just like that. Thousands who followed Jesus
when He walked this earth. And He turned to them. He would
turn to them and say, because of the love of his business.
Remember that? He saved me from what he could
get out of me, from giving me bad food and so forth. Another
time he said, you saved me because of the miracles. You're impressed. You want to see these things.
You're impressed. And then another time he said he did not commit
any of that. He didn't want to know. That's what they were after. But Oprah Jones had the one story
of some fellows who came to the disciples looking for Christ.
And they said to whoever was at the door, Peter or Andrew
or whoever, they said, Sir, we would see Jesus. We want to see
Jesus. We want to hear Him. We want
to talk to Him. We want to sit and listen to
Him. Is He here? We're living for Him. That's
what they're saying. Well, they went and told the
Lord. And He came. I guess He came and told them.
Then He said, Watch. Watch and seek this fact. And they said, oh, I don't know
how to do that. But they said, where does that,
where do you get it? We won't tell you. And just sit
up and listen and talk. He said, come here. And as fast as I came, I saw
him, and I said, how come? I said, I opposed it. I said,
I don't see anything else. I found it. The Lord Jesus Christ
is God, and humanity is the other one. Well, that's it. And now, where does anyone seek
the Lord? Where does anyone seek the Lord? Well, it's like those who love
God, they love Him because He first loved them, right? And
those who seek the Lord, seek Him because He first taught and
founded. Don't you love Isaiah 65 verse
1? He said, I am sought of them
that ask not for. Only believer, under Daniel,
says this, I am sought of them that ask not for. I am found
of them that sought me not. Here's an illustration of that.
I'm found within the softening of the heart. The Lord came looking
for his disciples. He left the night and night,
like a good shepherd when he walked, here, in search of that
one lost sheep, born many days to come. And he found them. They were right where he put
them, in boats, of trees, and so forth. And he found them. Well, one time he found Jell-O
sitting under a fig tree or something. He found Jell-O. Well, a little
while later, Philip said to his fam, we found him. Well, both is true, right? After he said to you, we found
him, you start saying to him. As we know, you've already been
found. Or else you wouldn't have said anything. That's what that
means. Now it's all a matter of astronomical.
And so all God's people listen to the call, they do say it's
a number. The very last line says, The
remnant, the remnant of the Lord our God shall come. That's who we're talking about,
everyone. They'll call on the name of the
Lord, they'll seek Him, and they will find Him, and they will
rejoice in Him and be glad in Him. Here's the point. There'll be glad in him. It's
a marriage. You know what that's what this thing is? It's a marriage.
It's Christ coming to look for his daughter. It's Boaz coming to find his
Ruth and his children. Where is Ruth at? Let's have
both of them. It's a marriage. Christ is his
bridegroom. Ruth is his bride and he comes
looking for her. John remembers that story in Hosea of that woman
who was a four-armed woman and the Lord told the prophet, Hosea,
go marry her. And that's Peter's prophecy. So, he got married. Oh, he married
a fine woman, an upstanding woman, a faithful woman, but a poor
woman. That's what he saw all the girls
were doing the loving, doing the saving, doing the forgiving. They can't be a character. Well, this is America, and if
it's America, then it's hell. Yes it is. And the bride rejoices
in the bridegroom. The bride rejoices in the bridegroom. He's the one who rejoices in
anybody's heart. He's glad in Him. And this is
what Paul said to Philippians. He said, true servants, that
is, true people, worship God in fear and rejoice in Christ
Jesus. They rejoice and are glad in
God. They rejoice and are glad in
Him. So, yes, you should be afraid. Do you rejoice that Jesus is
the highest man in the world? I mean, that he really is the
highest man in the world. You don't want to be getting
too substituted for him. Now, do you rejoice that he is
God? There's a lot of people out here that are going to say,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's how
saddens they are against God. Don't you rejoice that He gives
you confidence? Can you say with confidence,
my Lord and my God? Don't you rejoice in His God?
Only God can say that. Only God can put a letter to
you. That's what they said in Mark
3 that Christ did. They said when He, the man of
old in Mark 7, when He said, thy sins be forgiven. And they
said, well who can forgive sins but God? But he's not even God, and he's
not God. That man who came here to kill,
who got here to kill, was raised in Constantinople, and we're
the Antiochians, and we're still looking for some kind of Savior.
He is God. I keep quoting Psalm 259, and
I tell you, he's one of my favorite verses. He shall be standing
that day, oh, this is our God. We've waited on him. This is
our God. He'll save us. Do you rejoice in... We've been
talking about the Lord. Do you rejoice in Jehovah God? That means the Lord, our Provider. The Lord is here, too. I imagine
you'd say that. I'm certain you'd say that. I
see this, yes, in some sense I see this. Many take care of
it. Well, that's what Abraham called
the Lord coming down on that mountain. That's right. But he said, the Lord, tell my
son, the Lord will provide and accept. Amen. Do you rejoice
in the Lord in our peace? Do you rejoice in the Lord in
our peace? Do you rejoice in the Lord in
our peace? Do you rejoice in the Lord in
our peace? Do you rejoice in the Lord in
our peace? Do you rejoice in the Lord in
our peace? Do you rejoice in the Lord, your
shepherd? Psalm 23, you know, really only
the Lord is the sheep. Only the sheep are really interested
in that. When you say the Lord is my shepherd, I count on the
Lord. That means he's counting on the Lord. He's counting on
the right, and he can be in here. Jesus Christ is never going to
cheat. He said all the time he was getting
me out of the captain I thought it was over. Second of all, if you were chosen,
everybody wouldn't have that quality. I'm believing in other
people who've lost like you. They can have it. They can get
it. But I was lost in the Lord's, Jehovah's, God. The Lord and
my God. Okay? The Lord and my God. Maybe you're tired of hearing
that old adage, but I'm not. The old adage doesn't matter.
Let me tell you something. When I chose Him, I really didn't
like it. You know, it came in all the
good places. People who didn't care, all cared, and all the
ladies did not care. I'm going to tell you a little bit more
about the intuition. Do you enjoy certain things that
hold us safe as a human? I mean, sit here and put an end
to it. These are all in our life. And
it's always like this. It's important. It's more than
about who you are. It's about who you are as a person.
I think that it's very shifty to think as a person, because
we don't think as a person. Second, we've come a long way. God is well pleased with us. He knows we're pleased with Him. He's not angry. I'm certainly
pleased. He doesn't do this. So, I'm glad. That's what it
means to rejoice in Him and be glad in Him. In Him. And those who, uh, now aren't
you glad, Matthew, aren't you glad that he reigns over you,
and you know that? But, dear, this is not just doctrine,
baby. Our God reigns. The Lord reigns. Savior didn't
pass, but our Lord reigns. He's not Christ, but He is. Aren't
you glad? Don't you rejoice in the Lord? You see? Those who seek Him rejoice and
be glad in Him. Aren't you glad? Aren't you rejoicing
to see that God has worked in you? Not that He did all that you
do now, sir. No, no. He did all that He said He isn't
doing. Aren't you glad that He said
those words on Calvary 3 a billion times? And He did so much. Aren't you glad? And those who
truly seek and find Him, and they're satisfied from that day
forward with Him. And that's what we do. That's
what we do. We come here to worship Him. Those that don't rejoice
in Him, those who are glad in Him, won't be satisfied here
very long. because we just don't have anything
else to do. I mean, really, let's get to
the point now. If I were really rejoicing in
God our Savior, I'd be rejoicing to hear God's call to me, and
Christ's call to me, and I've never really rejoiced in Him
in my life. You just don't have anything
else to do, do you? So, I ask you, is this all you
need? Let such as love thy salvation, save
the integral of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let such as love thy
salvation, God's salvation, hear God's salvation, he heard it
before, so hear it again. God's salvation is having God's
first love in His people. God's first love to us. Oh, not
that we love Him, but this is His first love. This is God's
salvation. This is the Bible's salvation.
That God Almighty sponsoringly sent His love upon a bunch of
unloving sons, which He presented. Yes, He did. And once loved,
back it on. Always loved. It's eternal. It doesn't ever fade. Now, this
is God's salvation. When God's purpose, when God
Almighty send His love on somebody, that person is in love, and will
always be in love. That's what we're saying. He
was love at first sight at that point. Love at first sight? I asked him both, I said, would
you lay down your life for that child's life? And what did they
say? Would you stop doing that? It's
insane, man. Insane. Look, if you do all that's
necessary for that child's life, you're done. See, this is God's
salvation. Whoever He loves, is loved by
Him in all of that dream. And God, with God's salvation,
God chose the people. God erected the people. Now, He didn't have to do this. He didn't have to. As a matter
of fact, He shouldn't have. Although Martin used to say,
you know, he'd say, I'm not jealous. But I am. And he wasn't kidding. The better jealous person, he'd
like to show mercy. He'd say, I will show mercy.
I will have mercy. I will be gracious. That's God's salvation. God's salvation is He predestined
everything. Those that He loved, those that
He chose and elected, He predestined everything to turn in Him for
the rest of their lives in heaven and earth. He predestined, pre-determined
every single thing to turn in Him, from the number of hair
on their head to the number of days of the year to everything
else. He pre-determined, wrote the
book, sealed the book. That's God's plan. Aren't you glad? There's no chance,
there's no absence, there's no love, there's nothing. Love?
No. This is God's salvation. God Almighty,
God's Son, came down to this earth. God will manifest the
faith. He came to this earth to save
these people here. He came to do everything necessary
for them. This is God's salvation, and if you don't want salvation,
you don't want salvation. God's salvation. He had to discern it. And when
Daniel was a man, so did Carl XIX. Why? To save you. Well, he can't. This is God's
salvation. He adored it. He loved God's
salvation. And in God the Holy Spirit, They're
born, these people, these children of the world, they're born in
time, they're born today. And the way that they are regenerated,
the way that they are given life, the way that they are born again,
born from love, is with this new corruption seed, the Word
of God. This is the Word of God, the
Gospel of the Church of Jesus. And God the Holy Spirit sent
a preacher, and through the preacher of the Gospel, he calls them.
For whom he did foreknow, he did predestinate, whom he predestinated,
he caused by our gospel. That's not begging, that's not
praying, that's not offering, that's not doing bribing, that's
not that, it's just declaring. Like it says in Arimathea. It's
perfect for hearing. It's just declaring. And he said,
my people hear my voice. In my time, in new times, in
boasts of times, my people hear my voice. Then when you wake
up, and then you eat, that's how it happens. How does it happen? Every morning, every night, all
of a sudden, you're shattered. And God Almighty grants every
grace necessary for them. God Almighty will supply every
grace for their all days of their lives. Food, money, everything. And God Almighty gives them repentance. They've got to repent. He gives
them repentance. The same thing, I have faith,
and I'm ready to say it through faith, but it's not an exception
to get the God in you, and you want to move it. You're going
to have a new heart, God willing, a new vision, God willing. Thank
you, Lord. This is God's love. God brings
His love to all. So He said, let all who love
Thy shall enter. So He continues. That means preaching,
wherever you get up to preach, preach this. Whenever you want
to talk to somebody, say this. Continuously, always, all the
time, with everyone and everybody. Say this. Here it is. Let God
be magnified. Let God be magnified. Magnified
means lifted up. It means it's told. It means
honored. It means declared. It means enlarged. And you magnify something, and
you blow it up, but make the bar much larger than you thought
it was. You see things. When you magnify
something, you see things you didn't see before. And that's
what we say. That's what we're doing. You
know, we talk about this great sound. What happened? What happened? We're talking
about God's mercy. So every time we're going to
talk about it, so hopefully, we'll see something later. I don't know. Something more
important. And you can't, you can't exalt him too much. Rejoicing and gladness in Him
is here in you. That's right. Let those that
seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee, and let such as love
Thy salvation. Salvation is so important. All
people do. The same can be done. Well, praise God. Let God be
thankful. Okay, thank you. Our Lord, thank You, and thank
You, my dear boy, for giving Yourself to us and us to thank
You. We do seek things, we do rejoice,
and I'm glad the power of God has been given to us. It is so
that, so that, as a result of all our actions, that our God-mercy,
that our Christ Jesus Christ, our goodness, His mercy, and
all of His beauty, happiness, will be revealed unto us and
to Him, and love of Him who lives for us. We do love Him, Lord,
for those who have not first loved Him. I love You. In order
to be rejoiced, we love our family, and we don't complain. We stop
making trouble. We can't do that, but we say
amen. So we say, in order to be rejoiced,
we love our family, we stop making trouble, please, I implore you. In Christ's name, amen or not,
amen. Thank you. Thank you. I don't know. I don't know what's
going on. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All right. I'm going to go ahead and close
the window. uh... uh... Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you.
