Praise Him, praise Him, tell
of His excellent greatness. Praise Him, praise Him, ever
in joyful song. Thank you, Sherry, for playing
that hymn during the opera tour. Holy, holy, holy. I was blessed
by that. I was sitting there singing that
while she was playing it, thinking to myself that there has perhaps
never been a greater hymn written by a man than that one. I love
that hymn. All right, go back with me to
2 Samuel chapter 6, and let's read the rest of this story. Read the verses we did not read,
beginning with verse 20. This is the end, conclusion of
the story. 2 Samuel 6, verse 20, Then David
returned to bless his household. And Michael, the daughter of
Saul, that is, his wife, came out to meet David. and said in mockery, How glorious was
the king of Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the
eyes of the handmaids of his servant, as one of the vain fellows
shamelessly uncovered himself. And David said unto Michael,
It was before the Lord which chose me before thy Father
and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people
of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore will I play before
the Lord. And I will yet be more vile than
thus. and will be base in my own sight. And of the maidservants which
thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour." Therefore, Michael, the daughter
of Saul, had no child until the day of her death. Now, you read with me the earlier
account of David bringing the ark back to Jerusalem. And how
the Lord killed that man named Uzzah for reaching up and to
steady the ark, or he laid his hand on the ark to steady it,
to keep it from falling, he thought. You read that with me, and we've
looked at that before. We've studied that together before,
many years ago. How the ark, you know, Everyone
in here I believe most know how that the art represents the Lord
Jesus Christ. God's chosen way to worship him
to approach him all the. Will and purpose of God was found
in that arc when. The power of God was in that
are. Saving power of God. and how
that represents the Lord Jesus Christ Christ the wisdom of God
and the power of the salvation and we saw how that there is
a right way and a wrong way to deal with the park. As a picture of that a right
way and a wrong way and there's a right way and a wrong way to
approach God to worship God to here and deal with the gospel
of Christ the right way the wrong way. Now David I want to go back
over this again because. This is the heart of the gospel
here. And maybe someone didn't hear that story. David greatly
erred in not consulting God's word as to how to bring the ark
into the city of David right he did not consult God's word.
God plainly told his people in his Word how to bring the ark,
how to deal with the ark, plainly in his Word. And David did not
consult God's Word, and he greatly erred, and somebody died because
of it. Now, you understand how God's
Word tells us how to approach him, how to worship him. It's
very specific, right? There is a way that seems right
unto man, but it's all wrong. There's but one way, God's way,
and he's told us plainly in his word. And anyone who does not consult
the word of God is going to greatly err to their own destruction.
Are you with me? But what David did was he thought
this would be a good way to bring it in. He had a fancy ox cart
made to put the art on, to bring it into the
city. Now, you know David didn't make
some little primitive old pine, distressed wood pine, barnwood
pine cart. Oh, no, no, no. You know he didn't.
He made the nicest cart. As a matter of fact, the cart
might have look better than the art. You reckon. And the oxen that
he chose to pull this cart. They were the best in all of
this you know it. I'm scrapping so that when it's
this art was coming along people were what people were saying
was. Would you look at that car. You reckon. I know it's so, because that's
precisely what's going on in religion today. All these trappings
of religion, all these things, paraphernalia of religion, people
think they're going to adorn the unsearchable riches of the
Lord Jesus Christ. John, I can add to, he who is
altogether lovely. You imagine the audacity of sinful
man, the ignorance of sinful man, in thinking that there's
anything more lovely, more appealing to God anything that God will
accept other than that. And Patrick, if they don't look
into God's word, they're going to greatly err and they're going
to die because of it, aren't they? God's going to kill. There's
going to be a great slaughter in the end of many of us. Us being one who put his vile
hands on the ark, thinking he was going to help it out. What a picture this is of how
God is going to slaughter so many who lay their vile hands on the truth, who hold the truth
in unrighteousness. The truth doesn't need our help.
Christ doesn't need our help. And the Lord killed this man
and David. Now, what was the way to bring? Do you know the way to bring
the Ark in? Deborah knows. Deborah taught our children.
Our children know. There's only one way to bring
the Ark, ever, ever, for the Ark to go here and there. One way. Do you know? There were rings inside of that
ark, remember? There were rings, four rings. If I'm not careful, I'll start
getting into each of these parts in the ark. But anyway, the staves
were to be put in the ring, two staves, golden, brass, that is. And only the Levites, the priests,
the chosen ones of the Lord, the chosen men of Israel, only
they, four of them, were to put this precious Blessed. Box. Are upon their shoulders, and
they were to walk carrying this precious burden. Of the power
and the glory of God. And see, as there's Ranger on
the bottom of the ark too, so that the ark stood way above
them. For all to see, they couldn't
even see the men carrying it, but they could see this ark set
up high and lifted up. Do I need to comment on that?
God has chosen his men, his preachers, men, not women, men to bear this great
burden, this precious burden of the gospel of Christ. Hold
it up the head, all to see. If I be lifted up, Christ said,
I will draw all men to me, all of my men, my chosen men, as
David gathered his men. Well, there's something. Not
only was it to be born on the priest's shoulder. But there
was something whenever the Ark was to be dealt with. There was
something needful. Something that had to happen.
And David didn't do it before. There's something greatly missing. And God killed a man because
this was missing. So they were fooling around.
Now, they were all sincere, weren't they? Weren't they? They were
sincere. And I've got to hurry. This is not the principal part
of the story. But they were all sincere, weren't
they? Playing and dancing and singing
and having a big time and all that. It's all an arc. It's an
arc, isn't it? But there's a right way to do
this. And there's one thing they need from. And without it, God's
going to kill you all. He's holy. Without this, There's
no acceptance and no remission of sins. You can't come unto
God. You've got to do one thing. What? Blood. Mac, there was not a drop
of blood shed before. Not a drop. Verse 13, apparently, the Lord
reminded David, or he went back and consulted the Word, saying, And it was so now when they put
this arc on the shoulders of the Levi day that bear the arc
it says in verse thirteen and they hadn't taken six steps. Six steps. It said OK we're ready. One. Now that without the shedding
of blood, there's no remission of sin. God has plainly told
us that in his word, without the shedding of blood, that there's
a blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son that cleanses us from all
our sin. And once you hear and understand
the truth, how to approach God, you won't want to take six steps.
You won't want to go a step toward God without Christ's blood interceding
for you. You know why, don't you? Now,
there's some mention of the blood today in religion, very little,
very little. I challenge you to listen for
it. I challenge you. Tune your ears if you listen
for it. You won't hear it. If you do, you sure won't hear
them tell you why the blood is needed, why Christ died, why
He had to die. They sure won't tell you it's
because we deserve to die. Will they? They don't believe
in this need for blood to appease
a God who is angry with the wicked. No, they don't believe that.
I don't know what they think Christ died for. But that blood was a picture
of God's holiness and what we deserve by nature. Death, you
shed your blood, if every drop of blood's gone from you, you're
dead. And the soul that sinned must surely die. Christ died.
He died. His soul was made an offering
for sin. Blood was, all the blood was taken out of his body. And
he died. And he didn't do that for himself.
He did it for his people. The Lamb of God. Which taketh
away the sin of the world. Now, did I need to say all that
again? Oh, yes. That's the gospel. That's the way the story started. And we greatly err if we don't
deal with that. Need to be said again, we need
to be reminded how that we can't worship God apart from the blood
of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every time I told you before
a preacher is preaching. That you know if he doesn't feel
any liberty if he's. During the course of his preaching,
or at least every now and then, just holler blood. If you want to say something
worth hearing, just every now and then, holler blood before
the Lord. It's a blood before the Lord. I was leaning over the full page.
See that? I noticed my pastor doing that a lot, Winston. That's
where I got that. Now, here's the other aspect
of this story, and this is what I want to dwell on from here
on. And this is a clear picture of
how all those who had the truth revealed to them, all those who
know the living and true God and his Christ, all those whom
God has revealed to them Christ and love Christ and worship Christ,
that they will be despised and will be hated for what they believe,
for how they worship God, for the way they act. That's what the rest of this
story is about. And the person who hated him was a totally unexpected
source. The last person he thought would
be his enemy. All right, look at it with verse
12. First, second Samuel six, verse 12, now he came to pass,
it was told King David you know, three months later, saying, The
Lord hath blessed the house of Obed-Edom, and all that pertaineth
unto him, because of the ark. David heard how that all the
blessings of God were because of the ark. And isn't that what you heard
one day? Everyone who's heard the gospel heard this very message. In the beginning, God is abounded
toward us in wisdom and prudence, having made known unto us the
mystery of his will. God has showed us how that God
hath blessed us, that all the blessings, that the only blessings
of God are in spiritual things in Jesus Christ our Lord. And
how that according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before
him in love. Christ our Lord. having predestinated
us under the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according
to the good pleasure of his will, wherein he hath made us accepted
in the blood." Isn't that what you heard? That's
a good old Ephesians 1, isn't it? Oh, it's more than Ephesians
1. It's the truth revealed in you, to you, a person, capital
T-R-U-T-A. person revealed to you all the
blessing that God blesses his people in Christ. All the blessings
of God, all the promises of God in him are yay and amen to the
glory of God by Jesus Christ. Isn't that what you heard, John?
You're with me. Isn't that the message you first heard? And what does it do? It filled
your heart with gladness. This is a good, this is a blessed
message for an old sinner. Only an old sinner, one who fears
God. You see what this death of Uzzah
produced in David that seemed to be missing before. It's the
fear of the Lord. Jenny, it says he was afraid
of God from that day forward. Paul said in Romans 3, 18, there's
no fear of God before their eyes. That's why they don't use blood.
That's why they don't need Christ, really, when they get in trouble.
The believer knows all the blessings of God. All the salvation of
God. All the mercy, all the love,
all the goodness, all the grace, all things. Christ is all. Right,
Patrick? We hear that message. It's all
in Christ. And so Christ then becomes all
to us. And blood, blood, blood. Fear
of the Lord is what produces that. David feared the Lord,
and David consulted God's word, and then David had him lift his
ark up, Melanie. And not take a few steps that
blood. The blessed story of the blessings
of God that are in. The ark and if God blesses all
the house. Where they are. I think of the house of parks.
There's Samuel there's never been a more blessed family in
our midst. That's it. Ah. That's the promise of God. The promise of God. You'll be
where the Ark is, have your children where the Ark is, and God will
bless your house. He had his word on it. He had
his word on it. All the house of Obedium. Because
of the Ark. Because of the Ark. And David,
it says, he went and he took the Ark into the city of David
with gladness. And it says that David is so
verse fourteen David dance before the Lord. With all his might. It's a shame, isn't it, that
evil corrupt men have, you know, taken God's way, hold the truth
in unrighteousness, abuse God's word, and use verses like this
to promote their wild religious parties and so forth and so on.
But David actually. Charles David actually danced. Now, what would cause a person
to dance? I mean, you don't dance when
you're sad. You don't feel like dancing when
you're sad, do you? The only time when you'll feel
like dancing is when you feel supremely. And I went back to
watch it right here. When you're the happiest, When that child was born, Sam,
did you just come off the ground a few feet? Whatever makes you exceedingly
happy and glad will just make you. And if your feet don't move,
your heart says David was leaping, you can be sitting right there
right now in your heart leaping. And because, like I said, because
the world has so abused this, you know, they've turned it into
a wildfire without Christ, you know. And so we don't, we don't
dance. But you'd like to. Wouldn't you, Barbara? You'd
like to. Maybe you are. Right now. You can be seated
and be standing. You can be standing and be seated.
You can be seated and be dancing. The gospel, may I say this without
trying to be clever, the gospel was shot with it. Boy, it'll
make your feet want to dance in shoes of blood. It's the only
thing that'll make a sinner happy. And I mean really happy. They
want to dance before the Lord. Now, David danced before the
Lord. It says he was girded, verse 14, with an ephah, linen
ephah. That's not a little loincloth
as you think it is. The Levites of old, the priests
of old. David was not a leper. Anybody
catch that? You catch that, Sam, how that
he offered sacrifices? He can't do that. Yes, he can. What tribe is David from? Judah. Well, the tribe of Judah
can't offer sacrifices. He can. He's prophet, priest,
and king. This came down the way ever he
will. And God will accept man to God. Well anyway. He wore this he
thought who were the. Priest common print and it was
just what it was a linen garment. He wasn't naked he wasn't wearing
a little more David was a modest man. All the people were modest
back then. Unlike now. They were modest,
they knew modesty. Michael talked about the vain
fellows. The vain fellows weren't, you know, they wanted to show
off themselves. And the vain lady. David had
this linen ephod on. What this is, is David now was
a king. David was a great man. David
was in high esteem among men. David was a man among men. David
was a man of reputation and honor. A great man. But when it came
to worshiping the Lord, Brother Mack, When it came to worshiping
the Lord, he humbled himself. He brought himself down. He stripped
himself of those great robes of royalty, and he became a commoner. He abased himself. You understand?
He abased himself. Who before? He wasn't doing this
for people to see. He wasn't in false humility for
everybody to see how humble he was. No, he said before the Lord. He knew who it was he was worshiping
before. He knew who it was. He feared
the Lord. And so that made him abase himself. It made him come
down off his throne, didn't it? And strip himself and become
a nothing in his own eyes before the Lord. And he danced and he put on a simple home fun garment
of a common priest, and with great joy and gladness and happiness
and thanksgiving, not caring what anybody thought about him. He didn't care what anybody thought
about him. It was before the Lord, and he
danced with all his might unto the Lord. Thou, Lord, seest me. With all his might. And you read with me, didn't
you like that? I saw some of you notice it.
Verses 17 through 19, all the people who knew something about
the ark and all those who were glad for the ark to be coming
in, all those who were glad and rejoicing with David. It says
David dealt out, gave out, graciously gave every one of them a good,
a big cake of bread, a good piece, not a bad piece, but a real good
piece of flesh and a flagging of wine. In other words, they
all just well fed, rejoicing and well fed. They went home,
Hannah, just full and happy. Ah, boy. And David danced and
they were dancing too. Our Lord said, now our Lord said
this one time. We just looked at it. He said,
we piped unto you and you have danced. Parenthood shall liken
the children of this generation. They're like children sitting
in a marketplace saying to their fellows, we've packed and you're
not dancing. We've mourned and you haven't lamented. Why is that? That only sinners will dance
before the Lord. Only those who are glad in Christ,
only those whom the gospel is truly good news to, will dance
before the Lord. This is to make a common person
to hear this gladly, right? A common people, the common people,
it said, heard him gladly. In this glad hour. It's the gospel
hour. This is the old time gospel hour
right here. This is it. You won't find it
on TV. This is it. This will make a
sinner mighty glad. Make you want to dance. I hope
you dance out of this place. Well, it says in verse in 1st
Samuel, 2nd Samuel and 1st Samuel is the story of David meeting
Michael. And her becoming his wife, Saul's
daughter was given to David as his wife, the bad choice. Bad choice. Had David consulted
Samuel, he would have told him that. This woman didn't love him anymore.
It's obvious, isn't it? Well, but David, you know, David
loved her. David loved her. And what a good
gospel picture this is. David, it says, smote a bunch
of Philistines to have her. She was taken by somebody else.
And David had to slay a bunch of Philistines to buy her back. What a gospel picture that is.
She was a worthless woman, Kelly. No good. He was way above her. She outmarried herself, buddy.
But David loved her. And she loved David, thought.
Seemed to. Said she did. At first. But something caused her to hate
David. Something happened all of a sudden
that made her despise David in her heart. What was it? What was it? I'll tell you. David loved the Lord more than
he loved her. Yes, he did. He chose the Lord,
and there is a choice. And he did. And you know that
it's God who has chosen us. You know that. We're going to
sing at the close of this song, Oh, Happy Day. that picks my
choice. I'll be my Savior and my God. There was a day in the marriage
of the Lamb with you, his forlorn wife, where he said unto you,
made you willing in the day of his gospel power, where he said
unto you, will you take this Christ whom the world hate to
be your Christ? And you say without hesitation,
from the depth of your heart, I will. I do. Do you love him? Do you promise to love? I do. Above all others? Yes, I do. Though all forsake you, take
him. Yes. Forsaking all of us? Yes. Right? Oh, yeah. All God's people make
a choice according to God's choice. And David loved his Lord more
than her. And David was totally committed
to his law. He was no part-time. Why wasn't
Michael with the people, Devin? Why wasn't she down there? I bet come Sabbath, she showed
up. Come Sabbath, she might have
showed up. David was committed. And David's great concern was
not principally for his own family or even his wife. And this is how he proved that
he loved the Lord supremely. David's great concern was with
the glory of God. And the bringing in of the ark. That was David's concern, Melody,
to bring in the ark for the glory of God, for the worship of God.
He was concerned with worshiping God. Leave the woman at home. And who his people were was God's
people, the common maidens, those who worshiped his God with him,
Hannah. That's who his people were. You coming with me? No.
So be it. It's just clarity. And so, she hated him. She hated him. And does not our
Lord say this? Did not the son of David say
many years later, a man's foes shall be those of his own household? Didn't he? Marvel not, brethren,
if men hate you. And a man's foes shall be those
of his own household. I've come to set a man at variance
with his father, a woman with her mother. This is proof, this
is the utmost proof, the chief proof, the final proof. Who do
you love? Who do you love? But if the love
of God is shed abroad in your heart, you'll forsake all others
for him and him alone. And you'll be hated for who you
worship. Michael believed in God. She wasn't a heathen. Irene, she didn't believe David's
God. He's the only God there is. She was religious, but she
was without denying the power thereof, didn't she? You will
be hated, too, for who you worship, for who you believe, the living
and true God, the true Christ, truth, You will be hated for
being committed to him. People don't care if you're religious.
Your spouses, your family, your friends will not care if you
just get religion and do it every now and then, you know. And when
a good family reunion comes along, you'll join them and forget worship. But now if you forsake all else,
and even them, especially them, for the worship of your God, You'll be hated. You'll be called
a fanatic cult. You'll be hated for being committed
to him. You'll be hated for the truth which rejoices your heart.
You surely don't believe. Look at it with me. Look at her
response to David. What she said to him, David returned
and Michael, the daughter, said in mockery of him, Oh, how glorious
was the king of Israel to die. Can't you hear her voice now?
You've heard it yourself, haven't you? Some of you, haven't you?
Heard it? Oh, I thought she was a Christian. Oh, how glorious was the king
of Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of
the handmaids of his servants. She lied on him. He didn't uncover
himself. He was not naked. He had a linen
ephod on, but she lied on him. She said all manner of evil was
against him. Why? For the heart's sake. He lied to him. He wasn't telling
the truth. Evil people, unbelievers, can't
tell the truth. It's not capable of it. And she said to him, and oh,
you did this in front of, as one of the vain fellows. You're
like one of these commoners. Look at you, acting like that,
abasing yourself, bringing yourself down. Well, you're a man of high
honor and esteem. What are you doing acting like
that, dressing like that? Being with those kind of people,
you're above that. Surely you don't act like that. Surely you
don't believe that. Surely that's not the way you
worship God. Surely we're not that bad. We're not that low.
Man aren't worm. Man aren't dog. Man aren't this.
I'm not that low. You're not that low. You don't
believe like that, do you? You don't believe that's the
only way, do you? Come on. Nobody else acts like that. Where'd you get that at? I've
never seen that before. Anybody heard these things? From an unsuspecting source?
Your own wife, perhaps? Your husband? Huh? Surely you don't believe that
stuff. That's the doctrine of devils.
Surely you don't think God's that holy and sovereign and man's
that bad. Surely you don't think I'm that
bad. She didn't have a clinician.
Surely you don't need to abase yourself like that and act like
a common person. Surely you're not one of those
sovereign gracers, are you? Surely not. Surely you don't.
Surely not. Now, here's David's reply, and
I'll quit with it. David said, in verse 21, he said
unto Michael, it was before the Lord See, God is the one who said
it before. God knows. The foundation of
God stands assured, having this seal. The Lord knows them. He's
not paying attention to all this stuff going on in religion. He's
not hearing any of it. All that dancing and singing
and all that, he's not. Oh, no, no. That's not what he's
looking on the heart. Oh, here's a fellow dancing.
He's sincere about it. He knows who he's dancing before,
and why. Catch this shirt, he knew, is
before the Lord. Not doing it to be seen. Not
doing it because the music sounded good. Because of the Lord. It's him that made me glad. Made
me want to dance. Him, before the Lord. He worshiped
not to be seen of man, but before the Lord, and conscious of one
person, the Holy God. He cared not for the approval
or affirmation of man, but of the Lord. And it said, read on,
he said, The Lord which chose me. Are you with me? One person with me. It was, I'm
dancing because the Lord chose me. I'm dancing because I'm one of
the elect." Mac, this made him exceedingly glad that God, from
the beginning, chose him. It made Michael mad. Made her
hate him because he just said the truth. He said, God chose
me before your house, before Saul and all his house. David have I loved, Saul have
I hated. What do you say about that, Michael?
I don't like that. David said, I do. Didn't he? Huh? What do you say to that? God
hath chosen a people before the foundation of the world. What
do you say to that? I'm so glad. I'm so glad. He chose me, God elected me. And, you know, it says, he went on, he says, and
God hath appointed me, verse 20. God, verse 21, God chose
me to appoint me. God hath predestined all things
concerning God hath made concerning me a covenant, ordered in all
things, and sure, and this is all my hope. Is this all your
hope, Brother Sam, that God hath predestinated all things concerning
you? Huh? Does that make you happy?
Does it make you glad that your wife, everything about her is
predestined by God, ordered and sure, and God, who worketh all
things for your good? according to his eternal and
all wise purpose, doesn't it? Come on, dance with me, Sam.
Your daughter, everything about her has been ordered by God.
Nothing and no one can touch them unless God says so. Huh? Hell or hot water can't
touch God's people. Satan has desired to sit you.
God's put a hedge about you. Is this your God? Let's dance! That's my God. I don't believe.
That's my God. I hate your God. I don't. That's my God. And I'll tell
everybody. I'll dance. I'm not doing it
to be seen anyway. I'm doing it unto God who loved
me and washed me from my sins in His own precious blood. Hate
me or not, God loves me. God accepts me. And it's all
because of this precious Christ of His. I'm doing this, this
is all about the ark. Let's dance. And I, therefore, he went on
to say, I'm going to play before the Lord. I'm going to play for
the Lord. Jerry, the world thinks that
holy, holy, that's number 70, is it? Holy, holy, holy. That's
so old-fashioned. Well, we put that back years
ago, you know. We got some new gospel songs. We got some new
songs. There's so much more. We got
a ten-piece band, and they're playing these songs, and they're
just wonderful. And praise leaders to lead it, you know. That was
a harp played by an angel. I'm telling you the truth, a
harp of many strings, made out of firwood, played by an angel,
and gave the angels heard it. What is it? It's the song of
songs, the song of the angel, the cherubim that stand about
his throne saying, holy, holy, holy. Is that your God? Is that the way we worship? You'd
better believe it. And we don't give a big, I'd
like to say the word, what the whole world says about it. Do
it. We're going to worship a thrice
holy God. Do it with sobriety and solemnity
and with the fear of the Lord. And do it all around the precious
gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We're dancing, but they're not
seeing us. We're not acting like them, acting
the fool. So we'll be fools for Christ's
sake. Now, look at you. Bunch of old-fashioned. Y'all
are dead. No, you just don't understand. You just don't understand. You're dead. We're alive unto God through
the Lord Jesus Christ. You're not moving. No, it's not. You don't move a muscle when
you come to Christ. But your heart does. This gospel
moves your heart. And David said, furthermore,
I will yet be more vile than this. You don't like this? And folks, you know, we've been
on the radio now for eight, nine years, and I have come to a conclusion. I'm going to let it all hang
out. I'm going to call names. I'm just
wondering, is anybody listening? Let the chips fall where they
may. I'll be more violent. And he
said, and I will base my set in my own be based in my own
sight. The only person that Christ is
all to is the person who's nothing at all. The only person who sees
Christ as altogether lovely is a person that sees himself as
unlovely. The only person who will see
Christ as their righteousness is that person who sees they
don't have any. Huh? The only person who sees their
need of the blood of Christ to put away all their sins is the
person who knows that there's nothing they can do to get rid
of this awful guilt called sin. And from that day forward, They
grow in grace, but that growth is in humility. They get lower
and lower and lower in their own estimation, in their own
mind. More base, because scripture
says, he that are base of themselves shall be exalted. I'll be more
base. And I like this, the maidservants
You know those lowly common maidservants you were talking about? That's
my buddies. That's my people. That's my kindred. That's my family from here on
out. Kelly, Michael loved to rub shoulders
with the rich and famous. David said, these are my friends. You can stay in those circles
if you want to, Michael. And they. And I think it was
the salt of the earth, and though they're nothing and nobody to
the world, who God has chosen, chosen the foolish thing to bring
them off the things that you see, you're calling. Aren't you
glad that our David is a friend of public. Aren't you glad that
he condescended to men of low estate? And said these are my
people. Man, if I was just a little bit
Pentecostal, I'd jump across this thing. Oh, man, it'll make
you glad. It'll make you glad. It'll make
you glad. Common people, it'll make them
glad. Don't you know these maidens were so... David, is this David?
David's with us? Huh? Don't you know that they
were down there you know and here David's right side. David! Greatest man, the king of Israel.
David, you with us? Yeah, we're two or three are
gathered around this target. I'll be right in the middle of
them. Common people? Yeah, that's where David is.
You know what I'm going to say? Your dad, every time we ask,
Brother Joe Park, how are you? He always made this reply. Do you remember? Common. He's right now dancing with all
his might and Jesus Christ is right beside him. That don't make you happy. It
makes you want to be there. Ah, boy, but Michael got cursed. The greatest curse
of an Eastern woman back then was to be barren. And she, no
more fruit, no fruit. And the Scripture says over in
1 Corinthians 16, I believe it's verse 22, He that loveth not
the Lord Jesus Christ, and all that that means, Loves his glory,
preeminently. Loves his person, his work, preeminently. Is in it for the worship of him,
preeminently. He that loveth not the Lord Jesus
Christ, let him be anathema, cursed. Maranatha, when the Lord
comes. But those who fear the Lord,
and hope in his mercy, and rejoice around this ark that is Christ,
They're going to walk on in the glory. They're going to dance
on in the glory with the son of God himself. Won't that be
good? I can't wait. You been well fed? Everybody
got a cake and a good piece of flesh and a flag and a wine.
Now go on home. OK. you. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. I'm going to go ahead and do that. I'm going to go ahead and do
that. Okay. Thank you. This is where we're going to
put the device in. We're going to put it in here. We're going to put it in here. Okay. We're going to go ahead and get
started. I don't know. I don't know. I
don't know. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you very much. We're going to go ahead and get
started. Thank you very much. I think that's it. I'm going to show you how to
do it. I'm going to show you how to
do it. Bye!
