In the peace that's been found,
I'm very indebted to Thee, Father, I give Thee my very sweet appreciation. I praise the God of grace, I
love Him through and through, It's like here... Turn to 2 Corinthians chapter
10, first of all. 2 Corinthians 10. Job chapter
1 will be our text, but 2 Corinthians 10. I want you to read the verse here. 2 Corinthians 10. This message was inspired by some things that Pastor Mayhem
read from the book of Job. Plus, he himself told me some
time ago, several months ago, we were sitting talking. He told
me he preached a message from the book of Job on the subject
of what God said about Job. and what Job said about God. And he gave me a brief outline,
and I thought, I want to preach that. And so you're getting it
tonight. What God said about Job, and
what Job said about God. And he mentioned some of these
things briefly last time he preached here. But by way of introduction,
look at verse 18 in 2 Corinthians 10. Verse 18 says, Not he that commended
himself is approved, but whom the Lord commended. It does not matter what men think
about us. It does not matter what we are. It does not matter what men say
about us, but it does matter what God says about us. If the whole world speaks well
of us and is for us, if God be against us, what good is the
world's fame? But then, on the other hand,
if the whole world is against us and if God be for us, what
does it matter if the world thinks? If the whole world loves us and
esteems us highly, But God does not. What good is the world's
favor to a love man if the whole world esteems us as nothing,
and God Almighty esteems us in His Son? Well, then we are somebody, aren't we? So, listen to this.
In Romans chapter 2, Paul said this, Romans chapter 2, Verse
29, He is a Jew which is one inwardly, not outwardly. The people of God are those that
are inwardly His people. Circumcision, that's the mark
God gave years ago for a Jew, but when He says circumcision,
the mark of God is on the heart. It can't be seen. It's in the
spirit that is on the inside, not in the letter, outward. whose praise, that is, he's a
Jew, he's a child of God, a true child of God, is the one whose
praise is not of men, but it's of God. God praises him, men
don't. That's generally the way it is,
you know that? Now, you can go back to Job chapter 1. You know,
usually, The world hates the true child of God. That's what
our Lord said. He said, You shall be hated of
all mankind. That's part of the cost that
we count when we confess Christ, because you can expect it. You can expect it. The world
hates the truth and hates those who believe it, and they will
hate you for merely repeating it. But what does it matter? It's
the whole work. If God loves you. Our Lord said, that which is
highly esteemed among men, and that goes for anything, that
which is highly esteemed among men, what men think so highly
of, those whom men and women think so very highly of, it's
an abomination to God. That's a serious statement. Job chapter 1. Job is the oldest
book in the Bible, at least we think so. Job lived, we think,
at the time of Abraham. It's not exactly clear, but we
think that's about the time that he lived. Job, since it is the
oldest book in the Bible, Job, the man, Job, his faith, Job,
his experiences, must represent every believer. He does. Job represents every believer. You, if you're a believer. All
right? Now, let's listen to what God
said about Job. And remember how we started this,
what the Scripture said. It doesn't matter what the world
says. whose praises of God, that's
his exception. That's his exception. All right?
What God said about Job, he says the same about every believer.
He says that about you. He don't bless us, but if you're
a believer, he does. All right. Job chapter 1. Look
at verses 1. There was a man in the land of
Uz. His name was Job. Now, this is God's Word. God,
the Holy Spirit, is writing it. And that man, Job, was perfect
and upright, and one that feared God and is tuned to evil. Look down at verse 8. God repeated
it. He said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job? There's
none like him in the earth. A perfect and an upright man. One that feared God. None like him. That's what God said
about Job. There's none like him. Well, our Lord said that
about all his disciples. You know that? Our Lord said
that two or three times in John 17. They are not of this world.
They're not like this one. You've chosen them out of this
world. They're not of this world, even
as I'm of this world. They're not of this world. Though
the world sees no beauty in a believer, though the world sees nothing
different in a believer, God knows. Yes, He does. That's what Christ said, you're
the salt of the earth. That's what Christ said. I know,
can you hear? Can you? Well, you're thinking
right now what Peter and John and James and all of them were
thinking when our Lord said that. When the Lord looked at Peter
and said, you're the Saul of the earth, how do you think he felt? Well,
not me. He must be talking about John. John said, must be talking about
John. No. You're the light, he said. Peter said this later on. Later
on, Peter did write this. You're a chosen generation. A
royal priesthood. You know, not many mighty, not
many noble are called. But once they're called, they're
all noble. Do you know that? He hath made us kings and free. Once they're called, there's
somebody. He doesn't call somebody. He calls nobody. But once he
calls them, there's somebody. He makes them. There's somebody
because they belong to Him. You know, dogs are dogs who kill
somebody else, and then somebody dies. And we're God's. Caleb, Caleb
means dog. We're worshiping to Him anyway. Royal priesthood, a holy nation,
a peculiar people. That's what Peter said. God's true people. And see, if
you don't think this about the others that are sitting in this
room, I know you don't think about yourself. You shouldn't. If you do, well, maybe I need
to change this message. But don't you think those believers
in this room that you know are just, just, you know, wonderful
people? Rare people, you think, there's
none like him. Huh? Don't you? There's none like him. That's
what God said about Job, there's none like him. Well, that's what
I said about Sam. When I go through this world,
there's none like him. I don't find any like him. Do
you? That's what Sam says about, uh,
We don't think that about ourselves, nor should we, but we think that
about the rest of the world, don't you? There's lots of tellery all over
the United States. Man, there's a lot like that. I mean, she saw it from the outside.
Didn't she? Don't you feel that way about
her? It's a privilege of whom the world is not worthy. Don't
you feel that way? Swear to God. Not like him. He said, Joe, Joe,
I'm not a superman. He just belongs to God. And God's
created, God's put His Son in. God's put His grace in. God's
put His Spirit in. And He's just like Sam Parks.
A little older. A few more experiences. Grown
in grace a little more. That's the way Sam Parks would
be if he wanted one. That's it. He'd go on, he says,
he's a, he's a, none like him, he's perfect, per se, he's perfect. You think Job would have thought
that he was perfect? What does perfect mean? Perfect
means complete. Perfect, in this sense, doesn't mean without error,
without fault. Perfect means complete. Are we
complete? John, what does the scripture
say? Are we complete, John? Come on, fess up. Ephesians 1,
6, is that it? We're complete in Christ, are
we not? Complete man. In other words,
complete means to not be wanting anything. You have every grace,
Fruit of the Spirit it is to grow. It's like a little child
when they're born. When they come out of that womb,
they have everything they need to be a human being. They're
not going to grow another arm, or another finger, or another
toe, or another kidney, or anything like that. Nothing's going to
change about them, but everything's going to grow. So it is when
we're born of God. That's all it's going to be.
That's the way it is. Perfect. Upright. Upright. Believers. Now, you know, it
used to be, years ago, you could take a man at his word. Good. It used to mean something. Man,
he didn't need contracts. 2 Timothy 3 talks about in the
last days perilous times to come. There'll be truce breakers. Covenant
breakers, in other words, nobody did. You can't take their word
for it. Even if you do sign something,
it still might not hold up. They take you to court and give
it up to the lawyer to find a loophole. Right? It doesn't matter if it's
a name, it doesn't matter if it's a word, it means nothing.
It still doesn't appeal. Doesn't it? I could get all my earthly possessions.
This man over here was treasurer for 13 years. But thousands upon thousands
upon thousands of dollars passed through his hands. I am absolutely
confident beyond a shadow of a doubt, not one inning, that
it is possible. I can guarantee you that. that we can entrust our life
savings, huh? We must. Nobody called him into
account. Nobody, I don't think, did his
thing. I didn't. I didn't know what,
you know, I just had to call him and say, we need something. That's the way those people are.
They're upright. That's right. Above board. Not underhanded. Everything's on the table. Yes,
it is. Their word means something. Honest,
true, trustworthy. Why? It's not real. It's Christ's
anointing. It's Christ's anointing. Read on. It says, Feareth God. Boy, this doesn't strike a believer.
Perhaps more than anything else, this is the characteristic of
a true believer, and this is the characteristic that's missing
in most so-called Christians. This is it. This is the first
and truest mark of a believer. Fear of the Lord is the beginning
of wisdom. Fear of the Lord means reverence.
It means a holy respect, a holy awe. Fearfulness, fear which
makes a person speak carefully about God. Fearful of using his
name incorrectly. Fearful of thinking wrong thoughts.
Fearful of, well, they want to speak rightly about God. They
want to speak worship. They want to act worship. They
believe His Word. They don't question His Word.
They fear. The consequences of questioning
Him, they fear sinning against Him, they fear the Lord. Now
more than ever, this is the mark of a true believer. You know
that? Now more than ever. This study has never been made,
ever, in history. That is more blatantly Fearless
and blasphemous of God Almighty. And I've brought this to our
attention many times. From grown-ups down to even the
smallest children, the name of God is on everybody's lips. Every other word, Oh God. Whatever happens, Oh God. And now all of them, this is
the mark of a true believer. They fear God. They fear his
name. They fear a grain of protein.
They fear his word. They don't question it. He fears
God. I can say that confidently about
every believer in here. Read on. And it's Judith evil,
verse eight. He is Judith evil. This is what
God said about Job, and this is what God says about every
believer. It's Judith means to hate him. Is it not so? You hate him, number
one, in your sin. And you won't hate him unless
you start there. That's where you hate the mother. You hate
the fact that you find it here. That gives you more grief than
seeing it elsewhere. But you hate it in yourself,
you hate it all around you. Even Lot. You know the story
of Lot? Even though Lot was in the midst
of Sodom, and Lot acted like a Sodomite at the time, it still
says about Lot. God still says about Lot. He's
a judgmental man. Huh? Didn't it say that? He was
there. And he'd been there so long that
some, you know, and even his son-in-laws didn't really take
him seriously all the time. Yes, God says he's a just man,
and he's fixed with all this turnaround. He fixes it. Is that you? It's true that evil means hate.
It's true that evil means to avoid it. It means to avoid it. Though sometimes believers fall
into it, yet generally they try to steer clear of it. Now, it
didn't used to be that way. Let me tell you the difference
between sinners of this world and God's people who are sinners.
Let me tell you the difference, okay? The difference between
the sinners of this world and God's people who are still sinners.
The world loves sin. The world pursues sin. The world
condones sin. Believers hate sin. Believers
try to avoid sin. Believers condemn sin. In themselves
and in everything. All right, now look over chapter
42. Chapter 42, Job. God said that
about Job, and God says that about all believers. And examine yourself. After everything, just think. From your heart, can you not
say, You must. You must. All right. Job 42. Now this is
what Job says about God. Chapter 42, verses 7 and 8. It
was so that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job,
the Lord said to the lifeless demoniac, My wrath is kindled
against thee and against thy two friends. You have not spoken
of me, the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. Verse
8, last line of chapter, verse 8. He said, Job will pray for
you, and him will I accept, lest I deal with you after your folly,
and that you have not spoken of me that thing which is right,
like my servant Job hath. Him will I accept. You know,
Job certainly is a type of Christ there, is he not? We're accepted
in Christ, and Job had a break with his friends, didn't he?
Nevertheless, every believer is accepted in Christ. Sure is. He's accepted. God accepts our
person like Adam. He hath made us accepted in the
blood because of the sacrifice, because of Christ. Well, what
did Job say about God? What did Job say about God? Alright,
go back to chapter 1. Back to chapter 1. This won't
take long. Ask yourself now, as you hear
Job's testimony, ask yourself if this is not your personal
belief. What did you say about God? You
heard what God said about Job. Here's what Job says about God.
Verse 20 through 22. Now, after these things, Job
arose and rent his mantle and shaved his head and fell down
upon the ground and worshiped. After everything that happened,
what was there left for Job to do? You tell me. After whatever you go through,
whatever it is, what is there left to do? What is there to
say? Where is there to go? To come and worship. And this
is what Job said. This is what Job concluded, verse
twenty-one. I, naked, came out of my mother's
womb. I came into this world naked,
with nothing. I'm not even clothed on all that.
Free arm. And that's the way I'm going
to return. For the Lord gave me. I didn't deserve it. This is what he's saying. I didn't
deserve anything. The Lord freely gave all these
things to me. I didn't earn these things. The Lord gave. By grace. By the gracious God, I am what
I am. I have what I have. I've received
everything. I have every good and perfect
gift coming from the Father. You said that. Do you think that
there's anything that you have procured by right? No. The Lord
gave it. Well, what if the Lord takes
it away? I hope we'll say to Joe,
bless him for doing that. Bless him for giving it, and
he's taking it. In all of this, Job sinned not,
nor charged God foolishly. The believer does not charge
God foolishly. The believer asks questions.
The believer can't understand God's dealing. They're pacifying
it out. When he started opening his mouth,
you know, he started getting in trouble. But he didn't charge God for
it. He never did. He started to justify
himself with his buddies who were wrong. They were all wrong.
God said so. Everything He said. They had
spoken what was right, he said. But they started saying, Joe,
surely you're doing something that we don't know about. And
God was punishing him. He said, no, I'm not. And they
kept saying that enough to where Joe said, I'm innocent. I've
done anything. I'm righteous. I'm just... And then his mouth got in the
way of his heart and what he really believed. He started self-righteousness,
he started talking about it. And he knew enough so that we
are falsely accused. But he didn't charge God foolishly.
You understand? There's the difference. He didn't
charge God foolishly. He didn't say, God's not fair
to me. Well, he worshiped. He said, the Lord is sovereign.
Blessed. He attributed no wrongs to God.
John, can you say in all that happens, whatever it may be,
from slaughter of sinless children, and whatever it may be. Can you
say the judge of the earth is a good guy? Can you say that? Can you say that? That's what
Job said about God. Well, chapter 9, chapter 9, Job
now talks about the three acorns. Chapter 9, He talks about the
Almighty Creator, the Judge of the Earth. Verse 8. I wish we
had time to deal with verse 8. He asks a question of all questions.
But we don't. Go down to verse 8. He talks
about the Lord alone who spreads out the heavens and treadeth
upon the waves of the sea. Who believes that today? Who
believes that God really created this planet? Who believes that? The thunder is his voice, saying,
I've glorified, I've both glorified and I've glorified again. Who
believes that? Every single believer. Every
single believer does. Job did. He made this place. If all the scientists in all
the little world get together and conclude, yes, we conclude.
Scientists get together and prove this. that we were once monkeys. I say, you're still a monkey. Ten years, well, we go on. Look at what Job, and this is
the oldest book in the Bible, verse 9, he talks about Arcturus,
Orion, Pleiades, and the Chambers of the South. These are the constellations
of God. I thought Plato was somebody
who came up with this. Who said famous astronomers?
Who cared? No one. No one even mentioned
it. Jove was one of the first astronomers. I don't know who
one of those dudes is. It says, God doeth great things,
passeth finally now, verse 10, yea, and wonders without number.
Lo, he goeth by men, I did say. He's everywhere in our way. Passes on, I perceive him not.
He's my Creator. Verse 14, how much less shall
I answer him and choose out my words to reason with him? Shall
the thing formed say to him, form it? That's what Jehovah
said. Where did Isaiah get that? Where did Jeremiah get that?
Where did Paul get that? They all, believe me, say the
same thing. We're just creatures. We don't have anything. We don't
have the mind. We don't have a big enough mind
to even come up with a question. Look at chapter 14. Go over chapter
14. Chapter 14 says this, man is
born a woman, a few days and full of trouble, he comes forth
like a flower, is cut down, live also as a shadow, continue if
not. Does God open his eyes on such
an insignificant creature? Why does God even pay attention
to such an insignificant speck in the universe? You can, there are billions of
people on this planet, billions of people. Do you know you can put this
planet, this planet, I don't know how many, I wrote it down
one time, looked it up, how many planets you can fit in the sun
itself. Do you know that little piece
of trivia? Hundreds of thousands of planets
Earth can fit in the sun. That's how small this planet
is. And man, there's billions of us on this little specks. Like microscopic specks on this
little ball that fit in the sun in this vast solar system. And
the scripture says it's all in God's hand. The whole shebang
is in his hand. What is in my hand? I'm somebody. Have you ever looked at ants?
Have you ever gone out and seen ants? Crawling all over the earth,
you know, hundreds of thousands of them, you know, crawling all
over each other. Man, it's not one way to do it. Not one. Crawling. Do they all, once the
ant says, look at my bonnet. Do we bother with ants? I had
a tree infested with ants, but it's like still raw. I took it
and set it aside and wiped out thousands of them and gave them
no remorse whatsoever. Answer me, this is what you're
saying. Why does it matter that you're
even mindful of it? Who believes that? Preachers
have told people all, so much that how much God needs them
and how much God loves them and how much they're worth and how
big they are and so forth and everybody thinks they're something.
What a believer's thing. What do believers say about man?
They say, why does God even pay attention to such an incident? That's what every believer says.
No jokes here. Look at chapter 19. Oh, man,
we're getting back to the roots of the matter. All right, we're
done. This is the root of the matter.
Chapter 19. Job said he's my creator God.
I'm a creature of insignificant spec in a vast universe and I
don't even know why he even thinks of me, let alone chooses me,
loves me, does all that he does for me. Why me? Why me? Why not? Now, down here in chapter 19,
Job gets to the root of the matter. In verse 23, he says, Oh, my
words, that my words were now written. Oh, that they were printed
in a book, that they were graven with an iron pen and laid in
a rock forever. Job, say, All right. Job didn't
have a book, Roy. He didn't have a book. He didn't
have one book. He said, I wish there was a book
written. He didn't know he was going to get a book. And here's
what he said, here it is, here's the first line of the book. I
know that my Redeemer lives. That's the sign God pays attention
to me, that I'm a Redeemer. I know that my Redeemer lives.
He knew Christ. He didn't know the name of Jesus,
but he knew Christ. That's his Redeemer. Look at
it. Look what he said. I know that my Redeemer liveth.
He's going to stand at the last day upon the earth. I know He
is. Joseph, He did. He did. He sure did. You know, I say that, the same
thing Job said. After all these thousands of
years, Barbara Rolfe, we say the exact same thing again, but
Job said, I know that my Redeemer lives, and He's going to marry
me. All of a sudden. He's coming for me. All the world
would believe that. It's a scoff at that. It's the
opiate of the masters, you know. The wishful thinking of people
that want out of trouble, like some alien coming down to save
them from all the evils of the world. Jesus Christ said, heaven
and earth shall pass away if not one of my words shall pass. Jesus Christ said that. He said,
heaven and earth shall pass away. Not one word that I said shall
pass away. He said, I'm going to prepare
a place for you. If it were not so, I would have killed you.
And I'm going to kill you. He said, you watch. The world's
not watching. You watch. Don't be like them.
You watch, he said. You know it's just me. The scripture says, to them that
wait for it is how he appeared the second time. It's going to
take the world by absolute surprise and fear. But believers in fear
here and now will be no fear. It will be inexpressible. They're waiting. He's here. Just like it says. Not science fiction. It came
the first time, didn't it? Nobody denies that, do they?
Nobody denies that, even the most agnostic. The agnostics
do not deny the presence of that one man Jesus on this planet
in 2003. They cannot deny it. Even the calendar reminds them
of that. The calendar reminds them that
he's living. Hey, Nick, it's Latin for in the year of our
Lord. I never did find one bone over
there. And they can do all the DNA testing
on me. That's fine with me. He doesn't have to do anything. Well, chapter 19 says, I know
my Redeemer liveth. And verse 25, He shall stand
at the latter day upon this earth and say, after my sin, worms
destroy this body. After my body is completely gone,
there's nothing left of it. Yes, in my flesh. Oh, you don't believe that, sure.
People have been cremated and their ashes thrown in the sea,
and favors have been buried thousands of years ago, and the sharks
and the marauders say, well, there's nothing left anywhere,
it's scattered. How did God make man to begin
with? From what? What? Dust. Dust thou art. Dust shalt thou
return. I give you return from dust. I move my people. You may look
at that Sunday morning, 1 Corinthians 15. Freedom. He says, I'll see
him for myself. After my skin were destroyed,
in my flesh shall I see God, whom I shall see for myself.
My eyes shall behold none other, though I am totally consumed."
See, that's the root of that. He believed Christ. He believed
His Word. He believed what He said. He believed He's the Christ.
He believed everything He said. Do you believe he came, lived,
died, buried, rose again, ascended, is coming again, and everything
in between? Do you believe? So did Job. Chapter 23. Chapter 23. Job said
this. Chapter 23. All right. Chapter 23, verses
13 through 15, Job said, He's of one mind. God's of one mind. Who can turn Him? God has purpose.
You see this? Job said, God has purpose. And it's ordered for the world.
No other God always works from the beginning. He has a purpose,
and His will will be done, and you're not going to change it.
That's what Job said. Read on, verse 13. What his soul
desired, he would do it. He worked at the counsel of his
own will, Job said. No, Isaiah said it. Job said
it before Isaiah said it. Isaiah said it before Paul said
it. All believers say, no, God does according to His will. Man
doesn't have a will. Man has a want to. Man can't
ever say, I will. You might. Try it. I will believe. You might, you
might not. You know, we can't say, I will
take a step, you might not. We say, I want to, I hope to.
I hope you wake up in the morning. You just might not. Only God
says, I will. You understand the difference?
Man doesn't have a will, free will. Man can only hope to do things.
God doesn't hope for anything. God doesn't want anything. God
doesn't make decisions. Brother John Chapman made that
statement earlier tonight. He said, God doesn't make decisions. We do. Something happens when
you make a decision. Oh, he's already decided. Well,
that's a bad word. He's already purposed all things. And something doesn't pop up.
Oh, no, not God. That's us. Unexpected things,
he has to make a decision. Not God. It's a one-track mind. It's a one-track mind. That's
what Joe was in the back of the line. Always spooking the Bible. I wish the world could hear this
message. Ain't nobody reading the book
of Jeremiah. They don't care. You do. No. Look at verse, uh, 15. Verse 14. He's performing the
thing that was appointed for me. Joe, who's on that predestination?
Is that what you're saying, Joe, that God's predestined all things
concerning you? That's exactly what I'm saying. Doesn't he say that? He's purporting
the thing that is appointed for man. Didn't he say back in chapter
14, it's appointed and the man wants to die. His bound is dead,
he cannot pass. That's all he's talking about. Is that fatalism? No, it's Bible. It's John's Word. Man can't go one second past
the time God has ordained for him to die. Breath, our breath
changes, huh? And therefore, what does it do
to Joe? Verse 15, I'm sure that's the question. Well, let's conclude this. Go over to chapter 42 now. Chapter
42. And I told you that Job, you
know, even though Job got into a bad way for a time, he got
to start hitting himself. I don't suppose he did that,
do you? Nah. Yeah. Worse than Job. Worse than Job. A lot worse than
Job, don't it? We and Job are here to help people
like Job. Boy, I would think whether or
not anybody had a right to a little bit of self-pity or something. I sure didn't. You know what I mean? My car was starting. I was always
late. You read it with me. There wasn't one fellow speaking
while he was just speaking. Somebody coming in. More men. Well, Joe, no, he became a little
self-righteous and began to start complaining a little bit, but
he's a true man of God. He's God's man. That's what God
said. That's the way God started the
book. This is my man, Joe. And so,
any of God's people that get a little self-righteous and full
of self-pity, God will send Let's say you fucked up the pride. God made the pride. The world's
full of it. That's what he's going to destroy. God's people
get a little of it in them. What does God do? He sends a
preacher with God's Word to break it down. Like Goliath. Goliath was that young preacher. He said, Joe, I've listened to
you. He was God's man of life. He spoke what was right. And
after he spoke, God spoke out loud. Brother Stan reminded me
of the forest city. Pull up your bridges, carry up
your lawns. That's what he said. I wish I had my own Bible. Job 42. Another place he said,
gird up your loins, pull up your britches. My dad used to say
that to me. When he had something really wanted me to hear it.
Sit up. Sit up and listen. Verse 2. Job says this, I know you can
do everything, no cost to the tolling from me. And you said
to me, who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? That's
what God said to Job. Gird up your long one. Who is
this? Who is this that's doing all this talking? And Job concludes,
verse three, I've heard of things I understood not, things too
wonderful for me, things which I knew not. Anybody in here guilty
of that? Talking too much? Verse six. Joe concluded, I hate
myself. Now, if it's all said and done,
this is what Joe said about himself. I hate myself. I hate myself. What do you say about yourself? We ask the oldest person in here,
Charles. What do you think about yourself?
You say the same things, old Joe, and hear it, it's of high
importance. After all these years. And I
repent. I repent. The dust of ashes. Well, what did God say about
Joe? He's not like me. Did you hear
anybody out in the world say anything to him? It's not like any father. There's nothing we've supplied
that says that, but any father. Thank you for everybody. I thank
you for everybody's patronage here, talking about God's predestined
purpose, God's sodomy. I like her. Perfect. Upright. She revealed. Here's God. And she speaks that
to us right now. Yes, she does. What's that? Well, what's the end of the perfect
man? One of my favorite passages of Scripture is this, and I'll
read it to you. Mark the end of the perfect man. One who could say from the heart
all that Job said about God. This is what he said about you.
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright. Perfect man. Mark the perfect man. Now watch
it. And behold him, upright. The end of that man? Peace. What was Job's answer? I'll give you a hundredfold in
this life. Now wasn't the Lord true to his
word? Our Lord said he would have lost
this and that and the other for my sake. I'll give you a hundredfold
in this life and in the world to come. Job, the end of that
man was peace. And the Lord and I, we've got to have
eternal rest in all things. All right, stand with Our Lord, thank you for, again,
for your Word. We ask that you would use it
as only you can and must operate upon us. Lord, we believe you
help our unbelief. Thank you for the testimony of
Job that has to grant us like faith, like mind. In Christ's
name we pray, amen. Amen. Thank you.
