Give him love and strength, O
Lord. For who could be like this glorious
Lord, To bless him in the morning sun? Amen. Amen. Good work. It's the attitude
you'll see in almost every single hymn. That means, I agree. It means, so be it. It means, it's true. That's good. Let the Amen sound from His people
again. That was taken from Psalm 97. All right, now look at Matthew
22. Matthew chapter 22. Our Lord spoke often in parables,
which are earthly stories, everyday common occurrences, which illustrate
spiritual things. That's how our Lord spoke, quite
often. Here in Matthew 22, let's read the first two verses. He
is dealing with marriage. Matthew 22, where he uses this
parable merrily. And Jesus answered and spake
unto them again by parable and said, The kingdom of heaven is
like unto a certain king which made a marriage for his son. Our Lord tells this parable of
The marriage of the king's son, and he uses marriage quite often. Marriage is spoken of in scriptures
quite often. And marriage is, the reason being,
marriage is of great importance and interest to everyone, everyone
in here. Perhaps some a little more than
others at this time, but the marriage which our Lord is speaking
of the marriage which everyone in here must absolutely be a
part of. It's the marriage he's speaking
of. It's Bible. Everyone in here
must fall in love with someone and say I do to this woman. Every one of us. All right, now
I'm not going to go into this character. That's not our text
tonight. But just look just briefly at
verse 2 again. Now he says, The kingdom of heaven
is like unto a certain king. Kingdom of heaven. Not talking
about a place, but he's talking about a around His glory, His
reign. Kingdom of Heaven. He's talking
about spiritual life. Spiritual life. He's talking
about eternal life. Kingdom of Heaven is like unto
a certain king. To have a kingdom, you must have
a king. Kingdom of Heaven has a king. We read about it a while ago,
didn't we? Our God is king. God reigns. His son is king. He reigns, rules, controls all. And verse 2 says this king, a
certain king, made a marriage for his son. He says the kingdom
of heaven, eternal life, spiritual life, salvation, eternal life,
is like this king who reigns over a kingdom, who made a marriage
for his son. Eternal life is like marriage. That's what he says it is. King
of heaven. It's a marriage which this king
made for his son. Now God Almighty has one son.
One only begotten. One who came from him. The rest
of us, the rest of his children are adopted. sons by adoption. But God had one son who came
from history. He's the express image of God.
He came from the bosom of the father. The seed of God that
overshadowed, or the spirit of God overshadowed the woman and
the seed of God, whatever that is, entered her and became this
son of God. One begotten and he's the heir
of all things. He's the owner, he's the heir
of all things, and God has made him a son, Lord of all. All right? And God purposed,
God purposed before the world began, a marriage for his son. Now this is real, this is actual,
this is exactly what the kingdom of God is all about. God made
a marriage for his son, a marriage made in heaven. He made this
marriage for his son, for his son's glory, not the bride's
glory. We've talked about it before,
how that man gets things so backwards, doesn't he? The marriage ceremonies
that we perform these days are indicative of modern theology.
You see, who is it that comes parading down the aisle and everybody
stands and gives honor to and gives all the praise to? Well,
it's the bride. She's all dressed all gloriously
and she comes parading down the aisle and everybody stands and
there she is, while the groom, the poor miserable fellow, He
almost appears to be an unnecessary person in the whole thing. He's
kind of standing over the side. Now who gives this woman, here
she comes, here comes the bride, who gives this woman, oh yes,
and the groom. And we forgot about him. That's indicative of man's theology,
isn't it? Man gets all the glory, Christ
is over to the side. He's over the side. He's hoping
she'll say, I do and I will go. Not God's kingdom. We're all
standing, the bride's standing to the side while the groom,
the bridegroom, is paraded down the hall's floor, dressed gloriously. And we bow to him and praise
and all heaven gives praise and honor to the bridegroom, not
the bride. So the king made this And I don't
expect to change tradition, don't worry, and I'm not. But God purposed a marriage for His
Son, for His Son's glory, His Son's joy. The joy of His Son,
who for the joy of the Lord endured the cross. The joy of what? Attaining
His pride, attaining His pride. And it's for the Father's glory
and joy, too. Well, the Father rejoices in
the marriage of His Son. And a large family, you see,
is a great joy. Married, children, grandchildren. It's all happy and joyous. It's
what makes life worth living here, other than pride. And marriage and so forth is
God ordained it. God instituted it. It's a good
thing. And he said, my kingdom is a
marriage. It's a marriage. It's God, the
king, who had one son and he made a marriage for his son.
All right? He betrothed. And I sure wish we could do this.
He betrothed a bride to his son. He picked out, God Almighty picked
out his son's bride. They did not pick the son. Isn't
that what the son said? You didn't choose me. No, the
bridegroom went about picking his own bride, did he not? But
they were betrothed long before that by the father himself. He
betrothed this bride to his son. He chose a multitude of people
which no man can number, but God knows. And he chose them
to marry his altogether lovely son. And the way he joined them is
like Ruth. We heard about Boaz flirting
with Ruth. He wooed her. Remember, he gave
her little parts of corn. And I saw to her personally. I just kind of brushed by her
every now and then at the table. See, who got the glory in that
story? It wasn't Ruth. No way. That's the way it is
in the kingdom of God. Anyway, our God chose these people
before the foundation of the world. And in time, they're born,
except the man be born of water and of the Spirit, you see. We've
got to be born naturally and then born again of the Spirit. And the way God does this is
He woos His people. He causes them to be attracted
to and fall in love with His Son. They fall in love with Him. That's
what salvation is. It's not assent to or agreement. Doctrine is falling in love with
the Lord Jesus Christ. It's seeing His beauty, seeing
His glory, and you can't resist Him. That's why we call it the
irresistible Christ. He's irresistible to His people. And they fall in love with Him,
and the Lord chose them. that to be his bride and they
will be his lifelong companions. Death will not part them, it
will join them forever. So the fact that God elected
a people and he gave them to Christ in a covenant before the
world began and what this covenant is called, this book of covenant
or at least the book of names. of all his prize called the Lamb's
Book of Life. May I use this illustration?
It's kind of like a wedding register or a marriage license. Before every wedding that I perform,
or whoever, whatever preacher or
civil servant, You fill out a marriage license. Now, you do that before
the wedding. You fill in the names of the
two being married and the date the marriage is to be held, the
presiding officer, and it's stamped and sealed, notarized by the
state of whatever, Virginia or whatever. License is drawn up
and signed before the wedding takes place. The names are put
in that license. No, they haven't been married
yet, but they are on paper. And the ceremony is just a public
vow of love and commitment. That's exactly what God Almighty
did. He drew up this covenant, and
the names of His people, and the names of one person, One
bridegroom, Christ, signed his name to. And God filled in the
blood. God Almighty put all the names
of his people in there. All right? Now, the Lord gave
this parable. He gave this parable. And I said I wasn't going to
get into it. I'm not. But many folks gave excuses not to come
this way. That king who made a marriage
for his son, many gave excuses not to come. And it's really,
all of them have, they had many excuses, but the reason why they
did not come, all of them, without exception, was they didn't love
the king's son. That's it. Had they loved the king's son,
they would have loved to see him married. And those who do
not, this is just a fact, those who do not want to hear the gospel
or do not need the gospel, whatever excuses, and there are many,
none valid. None valid. Our Lord did not The reason being is, they must
not love the son. Well, anyway, Matthew, go to
Matthew 25. Matthew chapter 25. Now here's
another parable he gave of a marriage. Matthew 25. This is about another marriage,
and it's about ten virgins who, for that is, would be brides.
young women who want to be married. 10 would be bride. Look at verse one, Matthew 25.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto 10 virgins which
took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. These
are 10 eligible women who long to be married, okay, or appear
to. All right? They appear to be
getting married or appear to want to get married. These represent,
these ten represent all who attend gospel preaching. These ten represent
all persons who sit on the sound of gospel preaching. Every person
in there. And wherever the gospel is preached
tonight. They're in these, this number.
All right? Some had a form of godliness
only. They seemed to be somewhat interested. Five were true, five were not. That's a terrible percentage,
isn't it? Look at verse two. He says that
five of them were wise and five were foolish. Some, by God's
grace, are wise unto salvation. That's by God's grace. Of God,
Christ is, of God is made unto us wisdom. Five were wise by
the grace of God, but five were foolish. Verse three and four.
They that were foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their
vessels with their lamps. Both had vessels, she said. Vessels
which have oil vessels which were supposed to hold oil, vessels
which were supposed to give life. Some had oil, some did not. Very
simple. What this is, is a picture of
us. We have vessels. You have a vessel. I'm looking at a vessel. You're
looking at a vessel. We have eyes to see. We have ears to
hear. We have a heart to receive. But this oil now is the Holy
Spirit. This oil is the Spirit of God,
and a man can receive nothing except it be given him. If any
man, the Scripture says, have not the Spirit of Christ, he's
not a human. We must have the Spirit of Christ,
or we just go through the motions. We're professors only. All right?
Look at verse 5. It says, While the bridegroom
charitied, They all slumbered and slept. Now they all, the
bridegroom and the tarry, the bridegroom took a while to get
in bed. And all of them fell asleep.
Why? Because the flesh is weak. That
which is flesh is flesh. And we all grow weary. Yes, we
all grow weary at times. You grow weary of hearing, I
grow weary of preaching. And we've had these earthen vessels,
all right, which tire the disciples deep. Now that's no excuse. That's not an excuse. Our Lord
is not giving an excuse for sleeping or being sluggish. He, over and over in the scripture,
warns us and tells us, let us not sleep as it does. Live a
little spiritually. But, nevertheless, our Lord has
been a long time coming, hasn't He? Over 2,000 years, well, 2,000
years, almost. Since He was here, He said, I'm
coming back. Surely I come, I come quickly.
And it's been a while. Verses 6 through 10, let's read
all of these. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold,
the bridegroom cometh. Go ye out to meet him. And then
all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps." So that is, they
looked for light. Tried to get some light. And
the foolish said unto the wise, evidently, they had no oil and
they had no light. They were in the dark. They couldn't
see the path. They didn't like their path.
They couldn't see to get to the groom. They said, we need some
oil. Give us your oil. Our lamps are
gone out, freedom, verse 9. But the wise answer is saying,
not so, lest there be not enough for us and you. You've got to
have your own oil, we've got to have our own oil. You go to them that sell, and
buy for yourself. And if they had continued, they
would have upgraded them and said, why didn't you buy before
now? And while they went to buy, they
went. The bridegroom came. They that were ready went in
with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. And they procrastinated without
a wait. For whatever reason, however, whatever reason, some
of them may have had, again, they had excuses for not having
purchased the soil and been ready. But for whatever reason, it wasn't.
It wasn't valid, was it? If these five could have oil
and could, those five said, good. But they procrastinated. Usually
when you procrastinate, whatever you procrastinate about, it's
because something or someone else has your interest, right? It's something you'd rather be
doing And you put it off, whatever you just, I don't, I'm not really
anxious. Any husbands, husbands? Every husband would procrastinate.
Because he has so many things to do. That he doesn't really
feel like doing. For whatever the reason, it's
not valid to put it off. And they realize too late. They
realize too late. cry at midnight. Here he is.
Oh, wait. Oh, okay, now I'm interested. Yeah, now we want to go. Well,
wait. Hold on here. Don't stop. Hold the show. Help us. Here, help me. I can't
help you. And they missed that. They missed
America. Well, that's a solemn So, both
of those parables are very solemn, very joyful, very wonderful parables,
very solemn. Selling oil for years and years
and years and years and years, the oil was free to anybody that
needs oil. Anybody that asked for oil would
say, as much as you need, how much you need. That's how you
open your mouth and tell it. So that's very solemn in them. Revelation 19, now turn over
there. That's what we read a month ago. Revelation 19. And we're
not going to dwell on that other paragraph, but we're going to
dwell right here. Revelation 19. Now, son, those five went
in. Son went in to the marriage. Son went and married him. Five
births and a husband. Oh, what else? Five women, same
man. Five children. Some went into the marriage and
they married this glorious bridegroom. Now listen, what we're going
to dwell on is what this marriage is all about, what they're doing,
what this marriage in heaven. All right, look at verse 5 now
again, Revelation 19. A voice came out of the throne
saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants. You that fear him, both small
and great, young, old, black, white, rich, poor, just male,
female, Jew, Gentile, say and say. No, all. Praise the Lord. Thank the Lord. Worship the Lord. Call the Lord. Should we teach our young children
to call on the Lord? They don't know Him. They're
dead, should we? All in His thanks. Praise the Lord. You better thank
him for what you got. This is not an option. This is a command from the king,
and what the king says, all the servants do. Yeah, but he's too
young. If he's old enough to say, give
me, he's old enough to say, thank you. If they're old enough to give,
They're old enough to give. Thankful. That's the reason I
insist our children sing these hymns. Teach them. Our Lord tells
us to do that in Deuteronomy. Teach them. Tell them to sing. They don't know what they're
doing, what you're doing, but teach them anyway. Praise our God. All of you. All of you. Praise or worship. That's what this is. Worship.
It's not an option, it's a command, it's not a duty either. It's
not a duty, this is a privilege. We say that every time we come
in here, don't we? Huh? God wanted us to be always
conscious of the fact that this is a privilege to be here. We
are the most privileged people on earth. This is not a duty. We don't come to church. We get the glorious privilege,
the high honor, the heavenly calling, the undeserved privilege
of coming to hear about the King. It's not a duty, and it's not
a liturgy of the lips, but it's a love from the heart, praise
from the heart. Verse 6 says, and he says, Praise
all of you, verse 6, and I heard it, and it were the voice of
a great multitude. I heard a deep voice, particular, or deep voice. In other words, all of them were
praising together, every single, this number which no man could
number, as the sands of the sea, as the stars in the sky. Yet they all, and they all were
shouting or singing or whatever they were doing, but it was with
one voice. They were saying, in other words,
they were saying the exact same thing. What came from their mouth was
the exact same thing. Wasn't every man left with his
own devices, or his own, well, I like this little bit. They
all learned the same thing. They were taught by the same
one. And when it came out of their mouth, Brother John, it
was the exact same thing. And they were one voice, THE
voice. You see that? See, there's one
Lord, one faith, one baptism. THE voice, one voice, all believed,
all loved, all worshipped, all shouted the same thing. Look
at it. Said this four or five times,
we read. And it's the voice of many waters,
the voice of mighty thunderings. Here's another thing for you
to think about when the thunder rolls. Remember, I'll never forget that. When we went through the book
of John, when the Lord said, Father, glorify your name. And
it thundered. The father said, what the father
said was, I have glorified, both glorified and not glorified again.
And the narrative says, some say it's thunder. Those that
didn't know the glory of the father, the glory of the son,
all they heard was thunder. And all they thought was, well,
you know, the clouds, this cloud and that cloud, and the atmospheric
vapor and all that, and naturally caused thunder. No, God said,
I glorified it, not glorified it again. God spoke. And so every
time we hear the thunder, we need to think about God saying
that. But that's God saying, I have
glorified my son and I'll glorify him, my name. Well, here's another
thunder, the voice of the thunder. Look at it. Every one of them
said with one voice, Hallelujah. Hallelujah. of the Lord God omnipotent. Every one of these people believe
in a sophomore God. Didn't they? Hallelujah. That means praise the Lord. Praise
the Lord. That was not some religious mantra. That was not some catchphrase,
some byword that they might appear religious. That was from the
heart. Oh, praise the Lord. They didn't say it until everybody
here, and they said it because they believe, and they worship
the Lord. God, the Creator, from the heart,
He reigneth. They all praise and rejoice in
the sovereign, all-powerful God, omnipotent. He reigneth. That's all through the psalms,
isn't it? Thy God reigneth. This is what all of God's people
say with one voice. Our God reigneth. Wrap it all
up in one phrase, and that's what believers believe. Our God
reigneth. Let the earth tremble. All right,
look at verse seven. And they continued their shouting, their
praise, and they said, Let us be glad. Our God reigneth. Let's be glad. Aren't you glad? Our God reigneth. Let us be glad,
see He, and rejoice, read on, and rejoice and give honor to
Him. Do you see who folks in glory and
heaven are, what or who they are rejoicing in and glad about? Huh? Him. Him. He's the theme of their
song. He's the reason for their rejoicing. He is what makes them glad. They're
just glad about what? Him. They're with Him. They see Him as He is. They're
with Him. They're beholding His glory.
And that just makes them glad. That's all they need while they're
on the earth, you see. They didn't need somebody to
sing or dance. They didn't need to see an orchestra.
They didn't need to see them up, you know, and fill them
with the anointing and all. They can stand by Him, hear about
Him. He's what made them glad. And
now they're with Him, and they're really glad. And they rejoice
in Him. He's the one they worship and
praise and rejoice in. They're with Him. And look at
it, read on. Now they said, the marriage of the Lamb has come. So here they are at the marriage.
This is the marriage. That's what this is, the marriage
of the Lamb. And all these persons are the
bride. They're all the bride. And they're
at the marriage of the Lamb. It's here, they say. It's here.
It's finally here. We're going to say that one day,
fellas. Just like it's here. And we're here. He's here, and we're here, isn't
that right? There's much going to
be glad times. This little bit of fortation of glory to God,
you know, is a glad hour. It just blasts the night. But up there, it's going to be
extremely glad, eternally glad. It's here, and we're here. The marriage of the Lamb has
come. You know something? I thought about this. They said,
it's here. They said, it's here. The marriage of the Lamb has
come. You know everything, everything comes sooner than you think. You know everything. I'm sooner
than you think. Just think about it. Whatever
it may be. You can put it off. See, we're
expecting old age. Sooner than you're thinking. Huh, age over there. 60 years old. What happened to
that young man we married? Genetic? Sooner than you're thinking. Sooner than you think. Death,
you know, we're never, we're never, we're not ready for death.
We don't think we're going to die. We're not ready for anybody
in our family to die, our friends or whatever. Sooner than you
think. Always. Sooner than you think. I wasn't
ready. Sooner than you think. And we're
going to be out of here. Sooner than you think. Like that. It's a favor. Our
Lord said that, didn't he? And that reality is striking,
hitting home with me more and more and more. That's just, it's
unbelievable. For lack of a better word, it's
unbelievable how fast time flies. Time is short, isn't it? So basically,
it's sooner than you think. The marriage of the lamb is gone. Here it is. We didn't think it'd
ever come. It's gone. It's better than you
think. Read on, and it says here, it says here, and the wife, his
wife had made herself ready. Now this is the marriage of the
Lamb. Married to the Lamb. What this is, is the marriage
of the Lord Jesus Christ with His people, and He's called Lamb.
You know, that is what we're going to think of him, and that
is how we're going to consider him and see him throughout eternity. More than any other description,
more than anything else in all the Book of Revelation, you hear
about the Lamb, the Lamb, the Lamb, the Lamb, the Lamb, the
Lamb. All the people of God throughout eternity are going to be thinking
about Christ as a Lamb. Why is that? Because we need a lamb. We need
a lamb while on this earth. We need a lamb. Every man must have a lamb. Without
the shade of blood, there's no remission. Every house must have
a lamb. Every person must have a lamb.
Without the blood, if I don't see the blood, I won't pass over
you. I'll not show no grace. I'll
not save you. The blood is the life. You must have a sacrifice. You must have a lamb. You must
have an offering. Before God, you must. We're going
to have an eternal one. We're never going to lose sight
of that person. See that? We're never going to
forget He's our Lamb. We forget that sometimes, don't we? We go on about our business
here and put that blood before the Lord, isn't it? Well, He's
going to be before our eyes throughout eternity. The Lamb. And this
marriage is for lamb lovers. All those who need a lamb, while
on the earth, get one. And for all eternity. And this
is what lamb lovers did on earth. They needed a lamb, they wanted
a lamb, they talked to the lamb, they had a lamb. And now they're
married to a lamb. And Mary, the Lord Jesus Christ,
God's man, he hath provided himself a man for a burden for his people. Jehovah-Jireh. And look at this, it said, The
bride hath made herself ready. What does that mean? He made
herself available. She made herself a baby. That
doesn't mean necessarily she's trying to make herself beautiful
and all that. But made herself ready. In other
words, she went where the lamb was. She needed a lamb. She went where the lamb was.
And she thought, maybe he'll call on me. She needed a husband. So if you need a husband, you
go where my father is. If you need a real good husband,
you go where really good husbands are. Not some one-night stand. You
want a real husband, you go where men understand and love you. That's where she went, you see.
She went where the gospel was preached, where Christ was preached. It wasn't just some religious
thing. She wanted, she wanted to hear,
she wanted to hear Him say, Will you marry me? She wanted Boaz
to redeem her. So she went and produced me. You remember that? She went and
sat where He was. That's how she made herself ready.
To make oneself ready is to be hungry and thirsty. Our Lord
said that, didn't He? Oh, everyone is thirsty. He said, any man thirsty, let
him come unto Me. He said, let us obey the hungry
and thirsty. Hungry or thirsty, they will
be filled. All it takes is all the need
that He requires. It's to heal your need of healing.
Hungry and thirsty, that's all it takes to get filled in with
Sam. That's all it takes. Barry was invited to us for dinner
the other night. Sam and I were sitting outside
each other. And he had his fork in his right hand. And I had
my fork in my right hand, or knife. We were sitting there
at the table. We were ready to work with Sam.
And they were taking us along. that we were anxious. We were all in there talking
and all, and the same time, we were ready. And we outstabbed each other,
because one of us served first. But we'd say, when you make yourself
ready, I'm ready. We're ready. Here we are. Do
you remember the people in the book of Acts that came and said,
we're here to hear you? They all sat down and told Peter,
now we're all here to hear what the Lord has to say to us through
you. And he said, you'll be filled.
We got filled, didn't we? He said, we got filled. Well, here
it comes. Here it comes. I'm ready. Are you ready? And verse 8 says,
read on, it says, and to her was granted. It was granted to
her. She made herself ready, so it was granted to her. What
do you want? Food. Here it is. How much? A lot. Take a lot. What do you
need? Righteousness. Here it is. That's
right. What do you need? Water. Thirsty. Here it is. Water and life. What
do you need? Mercy. Ha, here it is. Endure it forever. What do you
need? Grace, but not so great. But
I'll give you more. How much do you need? A lot.
I'll give you more than you even asked to think. Made herself good. What do you
need? Christ. Here He is. You got Him. Now let me ask you this, who
pays for this wedding? Who pays for the wedding? Now
again, we got that all back. We got that all back. The father
of the bride pays for the wedding. Now, for that reason, Hannah,
you know, I don't know. Hannah, save your money. Your dad doesn't have much. You want a simple little ceremony,
we'll do that. No artist buys anything wedding.
Woo! Every preacher does, and fathers does it more. But the
father, who pays for the wedding? Not the bride, the father does
it. The father does it. He purchases
all the things. He buys the dress. He buys the
dress. And that's exactly what the father
did for his people. He bought the dress. He bought
the robe. The herb was granted. She was arrayed in fine linen,
clean and white. Now, look at this. This is important,
verse eight. The last line says, The fine
linen is the righteousness of saints. I read a—I have to say this because
One little 3-letter word can change the whole meaning. One
little addition will ruin the gospel. One little word added
by men or subtracted will change the truth into a lie. I read
a commentary by John Wesley. And he argued, saying, this is
the way he quoted this verse. John Wesley, he quoted this verse,
this approach, and he hated election, and he was, and he hated imputed
righteousness. He called it imputed nonsense.
John Wesley said that. Paul the Apostle called names.
He called Alexander the Baptist a myth and so forth. John Wesley
called imputed righteousness imputed nonsense. But he was talking to Whitfield
or somebody about this, and he quoted this verse and said that
fine linen, clean and white, is the righteousness of the saints. Did you catch that? That's the
way he quoted it, the righteousness of the saints. In other words,
it's their righteousness. It's a robe that they wove. It's
a garment they washed and so forth. No, no, no, no, no, no. It was granted to her, it says,
that she be arrayed, and the Father gave them that robe. It's
the righteousness. The robe He gave them is the
righteousness of saints. You see the difference? It's
not the righteousness of the saints. It's not their righteousness. But this robe is their right.
It was the Father who granted it and robed them with it. You
remember the prodigal son? Did he put the robe on? No, the
Father put it on him. Bring the best robe. Put it on
him. Bring the rain. Put it on him.
Kill the fatted calf. That prodigal just sat there
all, he just sat there. Crying, laughing, salvations of the Lord,
in one little word. So, here it is, verse 9, if I
quit. He said, now you write. He's
talking to John, this angel. Write, write this down, for all
eternity. He said, write, blessed are they
which make Jesus their personal Savior. Can you say that? Blessed, write
this down for all to see, for all to repeat after me. Blessed
are they which make their decision for Jesus. Write this down for all eternity,
so that all will see. Blessed are they who accept Him
as their person. What does it say? Write this
down for all to see, for all eternity. To repeat after me,
blessed are they which are called. For whom he did foreknow, he
did predestinate. For whom he did predestinate,
he did what? Call. When he called, he justified.
When he justified, now here it is, it goes. Now he said that,
look at this, he said, can you write this down? Blessed are
they which are called, powerfully, under the marriage supper of
the Lamb, and he saith unto me, Now this is no parable. This is no parable." These are the true saints of
God. This is no fair. This is true.
This is true. This is going on right now, as
we speak, right now. Several that we know, several
that we knew, several that we know, have left here at least
five virgins, one virgin, are right back doing what we're reading
there. Sam, your dad is dressed in a
robe, right now, singing that song. Looking at the light. This is not terrible. He said,
you write it down. This is truth. And it was spoken
by him who gave truth, who cannot lie. He said, heaven and earth
will pass away from one word, my will. He said, you write it
down. Let's read it again and again.
Comfort one another with these words. This is true. The Kingdom
of Heaven is like a marriage. He made a marriage to his son,
and he chose his bride, and a bunch of them are there already. And
I can't wait. It's a supper. Now this is one
thing I do like about weddings. A big supper. And this one's
going to last forever. Joyful time. All right, stand
with me. The power is in God, and we trust Him so much to hear
Your Word. Without it, we're in the dark.
Without it, we know nothing of God, ourselves, salvation, or
the truth. This is the, that was the words
of life. This is, these are words that
live by and die by. Now we love your word. It is
indeed land under our feet, fire under our path, oil of gladness
that makes us, our faces shine. Thank you, Lord. In this place,
thank you. If these things are true, we
look forward and wait for that great day, and it will be here
sooner than we know. Even so, come quick, O Lord Jesus,
and in your name we pray. Amen.
